I have been reading this site for a few days now, and like what I see. Not to mention some familiar faces who I have gotten to debate with over the years. Plus I am a fan of mickeycrimm who was a former short time member of Wong's site. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his interesting history. Looking forward to participating, thanks.

BoSox, nice to see you here. You pretty much don't have to worry about getting banned here. Almost anything goes. There is probably too much name calling and insults, but I guess that will happen on a forum with tolerant rules. Oh, one more thing. There is only a short period of time to edit a post. I don't really know how long the window is to edit, but it is short, maybe only an hour.
We are suppose to get another foot of snow tomorrow. All I been doing is snow shoveling.
I think you have about a 45 minute window to edit. The 5 post limit usually goes away in a few days.Quote:

Btw, until Bosox mentioned it, I didn’t know we were limited to only 5 posts a day here. I guess I’ve never got to that limit. I think a better policy would be for members to get 10 posts a day as long as their posts are decent and their insults are high class and somewhat creative. For the memebers who only know how to name call, they would be limited to 5 posts per day. What do you think? It’d probably be hard to do so I get it won’t happen...but I like the idea.

I suppose each July when the national news reports that Las Vegas had it's third consecutive 115 degree day, with a low overnight temperature of 91, people in other parts of the country ask the same thing. Midwest Player and Bosox. FWIW to you guys. I was on the phone with a friend of mine who is about ten years older than me. We used to exchange labor. He'd work with me on my jobs and vice versa. IT was a way to have some comradery and complete the work in more than 50% of the time.
Anyway, I remember one day he was up on a ladder and was calling for me. He was always a do-it-myself kind of guy and nicknamed the energizer bunny. So, I thought it was odd he was calling for me. Well, after about 40 years of going up and down ladders, this day he couldn't longer do it. No biggie. He held the ladder and I went up and finished the job. Form that point on, I always did the ladder work. Never really gave it much thought and we never discussed it, probably because we were always so bloomin busy.
So, thinking of you guys, today I ask him if he remembered that moment which was probably 15 years ago. What happened up on that ladder? HE replied, "for the first time in nearly 40 years, I thought, hmmm, I might fall and it would sure hurt if I did." The mind is a funny thing. Complex equations made simple. LOL Anyways, you guys BE CAREFUL.

I thought the analyst would slip up by now, this is where I was thinking. He wongs into the $15 minimum tables and will go up to a Max bet of $25 all the while betting the Lucky Lady's side bet either $5 up to $10. I followed the thread for a page and a half hoping, and waiting for him to say that that he was a full RFB customer, so far not yet.
