DOXXING THREATS

This was a DOX warning first coming from Boz he posted in the “Adventures of MDawg” thread.

”And I’m serious as a Heart Attack someone will doxx you in the future. It’s happened to some of us before, it happened to someone here recently with a picture and a name. Someone threatened to turn you in to security at casinos you frequent. And you have already decided it’s something you are willing to do to both Michael and Axel with half hearted attempts. I truly hope it doesn’t happen to you, but you are continuing to make yourself a target.”

Then two days later there was a DOX warning coming from Axel that he posted in the “Big Casino Wins and Jackpots” thread.

“It certainly won't come from me, but just remember what goes around can sometimes come around 10 fold, It actually gets very serious. Isn't that why guys like Larry's had to leave, when s*** got real? And let's not forget all the other stories of some serious real life s*** that went down. I certainly hope no one ever does that to anyone, including you, but it's something to be mindful of

First Boz made the back-door threat of a member getting doxed, and now Axel with the same type of reminder about members running the risk of getting doxed. Then it even sounds like Axel added a warning about some serious personal shit happening to a member in real life.

This is how hustling crooks behave especially when they start looking like hustling crooks. They can’t come out and say what they really want to happen, instead they become good Samaritans and give a friendly warning of what they hope won’t happen.

Other than Axel, and Boz, who else posting on this forum even had getting doxed cross their minds?

Just another confirmed fact of the type of people you’re dealing with on these forums.

Blackhole, thanks for the warning! You did a good job summarizing the situation. I had the same take on Axel’s post as you did. It was a back door way of threatening personal harm on someone. This goes way beyond trolling.

I guess in the future everybody just needs to be really careful when they deal with Boz and Axel. These two play by different rules. I can see why Bosox doesn’t want to get involved. He doesn’t want something to happen to himself or one of his family members.

In Mdawg's defense, as soon as he found out that Doxxing was NOT acceptable, he removed the link himself and apologized.

That link Boz posted above was Dan’s entire site and all members being threatened. That link along with the drool that followed was just a detractor from what is the obvious.

Boz’s dox warning was directed right at MDawg and Axel’s dox warning was directed right at coach belly.

Fair point, but forums wouldn’t be as fun. Forums are a place to escape, and we don’t have to worry about the PC police. If everyone was doxxed on forums, then it’d be just like the workplace where you’ve got to worry everyday what you say and how you say it. Is that what you want?

Instead of living in cartoon land, maybe people should understand that "causing personal harm" to someone else is not exactly an uncommon thing.

The truth of life in this country is that anybody sufficiently motivated can do anything they pretty much want to anybody else, with the exception of the president and a handful of CEOs.

So perhaps, as Archie Bunker said to Edith, stifling yourself isn't a bad habit to learn.

I could only suspect that all the alleged AP’ers who insist on remaining anonymous on a public forum for the sake of their livelihood would disagree with you.

How is it back door threat when it's been happening and someone attempted to do it to me as well and what happened to guys Like Larrys, Boz and KJ, zenking and others I can't think of? There's a pattern here they tend to go after people who get out of line. I don't think it's the same person that went off after me and boz I think they're separate people but it tends to happen.

I never heard of the word "doxxing" until I read about the fear it instills in some people right here.

That said, I've invited redietz and his bevy of personal threats against me, to come over here anytime and try his "level best" with all his biblical bs and "words have consequences" nonsense. Besides....he'd like the dirt we have in the desert.

Rob, I was on the same peg. The first time I had ever heard this word is when Tasha used it to call out smallcap for “doxxing” someone. I had to look it up to even know what it meant.

Here’s the definition: “search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent.”

The malicious intent is key to doxxing someone. Since Redietz said he’d like to dox everybody on this forum that means he has malicious intent to everyone here. That’s a little scary, since I thought Redietz was a reasonable person.

I reread my post and I can see that it came off as a threat, that was not my intention. I don't really believe in karma but it was my way of saying there's real Karma on these forums. I'm spending way too much time here and everything's blurring and blending together and I'm not getting much sleep for some reason.

Whatever the case, I apologize to you coachbelly, I shouldn't have even brought any of that up.

redietz is touched. I've never believed he was working with a full deck. He doesn't like Trump. There's a good reason right there to understand how he's "off".

When I was dragged into that mess the NYTimes and 2 other papers listed my name and address in their articles about it. (along with others) They even listed the amounts of monies each defendant allegedly made by alleged ill-gotten means. Not sure if they still do that today without actual facts. I would only guess when you consider what the press says alleged about our own president they still do.

My point is the amount of mail I started to receive became frightening. I got mail from lots of people accusing me of being one of the reasons they always lost money investing. The threats of harm to my family and myself were scary. There were all sorts of mail in my mail-box with no stamps which meant they were hand delivered suggesting they were close by. Of course, the needed agencies were notified, but there wasn’t much they could do. There also were all sorts of sad stories begging for help.

I hired a legal armed guard company to protect my family at least at my home until things cooled down. At one point we considered selling the house. After a couple of months, it all just went away and never once did someone confront me or anyone in my family or show up at the house.

It was a terrible experience, and to think in the mid-nineties the internet / AOL etc. was just starting to hit its stride. Couldn’t even imagine all that taking place today.

When I thought I was going to meet Axel while in Vegas, I mentioned to my wife we might meet someone from a gambling forum. She gave me hell reminding me of the past and wanted nothing to do with it.

So, I for one take doxing serious. Being famous and in the publics eyes automatically comes with all sorts of different type securities. I would think people on forums like these not concerned about being doxed would indicate they don’t have much to lose.
