The micikey crimm spelling in the thread title was simply a misspelling. Unlike other posts in a thread, the title can't be corrected, nor the initial post deleted, should you want to delete and start over. All I could do was notify Dan and ask him to correct the spelling, which I immediately did. Dan chose not to fix it. There was no nefarious meaning behind it.

You basically have 2 threads going simultaneously criticizing me, so I am going to respond to your other comments here.

Mike and I came to an understanding that would allow us to move forward. An Understanding long over due in my opinion. He had something in mind that I did not and would not agree to, as did I which he would not agree to. But we found a way to just move forward, not dwelling on who said this or that. Just move forward.

It doesn't mean Mike is my best friend. He may very well still resent some things I said. Likewise I am not thrilled with everything he says and does, including some of the ways he runs his forum. Hell, I don't even understand half the rules and why people get suspended half the time. So that probably means there will come a time I say something that crosses the line that I don't even see (and some times changes depending on the offender) and will get suspended. THAT is the WOV forum.

I have been pretty busy the last week and a half, getting back to my Las Vegas casino, AP, blackjack life, so I haven't posted all that much. And I don't think that will change. I am not trying to drive up traffic or any google search numbers or ratings. I just want a place that I can talk some blackjack, advantage play, life in Vegas, when such a topic arises and the mood strikes. And despite my efforts and begging that this place be such a place, it was never going to happen. So Now I have the best of both worlds. I can feed the trolls like you here when I am in the mood and still have a place to talk about what I want to talk about. And probably the best part of the arrangement is seeing how much it upsets you monet. :cool:

Spiderman was an account I created at Norm's blackjack forum several years after I was banned there. It wasn't for the purpose of returning for general posting. I had information on a cheating issue at a particular casino involving an automatic shuffle machine and I wanted to warn other players. I only used the sockpuppet for several days at the blackjack forum, like I said, for that specific purpose, but as these things tend to do, someone at WoV carried the story there.

So it turned out that where I was concerned with being cheated and wanted to warn other players, several players in Las Vegas already knew of the situation and had figured out how to beat it and were doing that when the story broke. Within 2 weeks of my initial post warning players and the story being carried by someone else over to WoV, the ASM in question (there were only 2 machines at one particular casino), were pulled from the casino floor and replaced by older models that have been used for years.

This meant that the advantage play that a small number of people were beating this game and machine with was gone and several players were pretty pissed at me. I got one threatening email and a couple other emails just cussing me out. Several of those players were WoV members.

Monet keeps bringing this up, but the sock puppet was not at WOV and it was only for the purpose of warning players about the cheating. I had no idea it was outing a play. I guess it is possible that Monet was one of those players that were playing and beating those machines, but I doubt it. I think he just thinks it is something that makes me look bad in the eyes of the AP community, so he keeps rehashing it, as he seems to do with everything. This is a freaking dude that lives in the past and constantly rehashes shit (as evident from his posts about his meet up with Axelwolf).

Yes, that is right.

Years ago, a casino that used CSM's got crushed as those machines were malfunctioning by not randomly placing the discards back into the pack of cards. Instead they were being inserted back in the same order.

Shuffle machines are ALWAYS malfunctioning. With the ASM, it is usually just a lot of jams. The pit comes over and fixes it. But the CSM's I frequently see guys working on right at a (closed) table with the cover off. I also see a lot of switching out of those CSMs. Must be very expensive to maintain.

Monet, I had a beer can collection when I was growing up (never drank them just emptied them out from the bottom with an ice pick or bottle cap opener), so that is the reason I knew about the humorous Olde Frothingslosh. Iron City cans were great to collect since they had a ton of different variants, like the superbowl years of the Steelers and so on. Other cans with great artwork (not necessarily from PA) I remember were Fyfe and Drum and Linenkugels. Cone tops (they resemble cans of break fluid) were terrific, but most were rusted out by the time I started collecting so I just had a couple. I found a lot of different cans on railroad tracks and up in the hills. Farm houses were supposedly good too, but I didn't get chance to go into those (but my uncle found some for me there). Mail was dangerous since cans could get dented, but I did do a few mail trades in the 70s.
