So, I think I may have gotten played at Miccousoukee Casino...

Miccousoukee Casino denied me at the entrance when they checked my body temperature with some hand held device, saying that my body temperature was over 100 degrees when I wasted that $160 taxi fare and didn't even get to play. I didn't feel sick and my skin definitely did not feel hot. Yesterday, Hialeah Staff told me at the walk in scanner that my Temperature was about 98 degrees. Today, Dania Beach Casino had me do a walk through scanner and told me that my Temperature was...98 degrees . Miccousoukee, your hand held temperature scanner sucks! I KNEW I didn't have a damn fever!

First of all, none of these casinos are located anywhere near Las Vegas and this is the Las Vegas subforum. May as well tell it to a horse racing forum.

Second of all, what does your temperature weeks ago have to do with the last couple days?

Third, you work at Walgreens and spent $160 on a cab to go to a semi local casino? Are you a pharmacist? If not either Walgreens pays way better than I thought or maybe you should be telling the story to GA.

Anytime someone's temperature reads high they usually allow that person to go wait in the shade and come back and try again, so if you didn't have a temperature why didn't you just do that? If it was screwed up, then it would be screwed up for everyone else and no one would be let into the Casino.

Guys, at the time I went to Miccousoukee, it was the ONLY Casino that had opened up in Florida and I hadn't been in a Casino in about two months, so I figured I would pay $160 in Taxi fare and play at the only Casino open in Florida. I got turned away at the entrance.

I was told there were NO buses that run by Miccousoukee , so a Taxi was the only way I could get there. In hindsight, just waiting couple of weeks and going to Casinos I could get to for free would have been ideal.

A very good friend of mine is at the top there. I guarantee this story is bs. Tasha give me the date and time and I will literally find the truth. They have to note and time stamp anyone that is turned away. A quick conversation with him and he told me in the last 2 weeks they have turned away exactly 3 people

At our gym (private, high end club), they give us a forehead read on the way in. I was told that 100 Fahrenheit or over, and you're denied entry, and that no one has been running hot yet.

Masks are mandatory on the way in and out, optional on the floor, although I wear one on the floor when lifting weights, not when doing aerobic exercise (cycling, running treadmill). This gym is never very crowded - and post-lockdown, the most I have seen in there this week: about thirty and it's not a small gym, has upstairs and downstairs. When there are thirty I would say about five of us wear masks at all times on the weight lifting floor.

all the places that I have been to that does temperature checks(not just casinos, including doctors offices) rescue to cool off in the shade or in your air conditioning car or whatever and allow you to come back and try again. They know God damn well someone might be hot from waiting outside in the sun or perhaps they just drink coffee or some other weird strange thing so I don't believe this again. You would feel differently if you got 125 ALERTS from the SAME person in just two days. I almost rallied for BWC's permanent banning,(I myself was banned from Slot Fanatics for much less than what BWC did to me) but I decided just to report him instead.

I was pissed off that I didn't get to play so thinking of cooling off wasn't a thinkable option at the time. In hindsight, getting out of the hot taxi and asking for a rescan would have been ideal.

I had to weigh my options and decided NOT to rally for his permanent banning. I felt that asking The Admins themselves to ask BWC to stop "Liking," my posts would be sufficient. They made a good compromise. They asked BWC about it and he confessed that he liked EVERYBODY'S POSTS. The Admins gave me a link to disable my Alerts for Likes and I disabled The Alerts for Likes. :)

One afternoon when we walked into the gym this week the forehead scanner detected my wife's temp. at over 100. I was fine. Had her stand by the side, in the shade for a few minutes, and she re-tested at 99.9 and let her in. Was told that they could do two tests only and if both were high they could not let you in that day.

When we got home we tested ourselves and I was 97.8 or something like that and she was 98.4
