Can't believe the stupid election laws just passed in Georgia. Time for some protest marches for a start. Its now a crime to hand out water to someone standing in line to vote. Where are these politicians brains? They arrested a legislator for knocking on the door. How much worse can it get. What a bunch of asses the GOP is.

I find it funny that most defenders of blacks don't live around a majority of them. I guarantee you that if they move into their "hoods" these same defenders will quickly change their thinking.
One's opinion as to the inherent "goodness" or 'worthiness" of blacks has nothing to do with the issue at hand which is the republicans intentionally enacting legislation designed to prevent them from voting.
Be nice if the USSC weighed in on the issue.
Seems pretty obvious what their purpose in enacting the legislation is.

Hardly anyone these days knows how to farm, hunt or fish.
Hunting is very difficult and you can't really start learning at 30/40 years old.
Same thing with Farming.
Fishing is easier but it wouldn't take long before you fished areas out.
The Amish and like Sects probably have the upper hand.
However, I'm not sure they can defend their land.
There's a need for factories. The problem is the people in charge of this country have decided that it's more profitable to build them in China or Mexico. And then you see the pitfalls of this kind of economy, beyond creating a worse quality of life for a large portion of your own people by having no jobs for them, when you have a disaster like a pandemic (which I do believe is real) or now a boat getting stuck in a canal, you fuck up everybody's ability to get everything.
Imagine if we made all our vital medicine and PPE here and didn't have to get it from other countries (particularly ones who through their own negligence in security at their lab caused the pandemic to happen). Imagine if we made enough of our own stuff that a ship blocking a canal on the other side of the world would have no affect on the supply of toilet paper for Americans.
Really only funny in private when nobody can be hurt. I will not hurt a child with such nonsense, you can damage them for life.

Bump. What happened? No one cared to name some countries that don't require ID to vote? Oh, I know what happened. You googled it and found out that every industrialized country in the world requires ID to vote. You can't even find third world countries that allow voting without ID.
Yep, only right here in the good old US of A is it an issue. Why? The left knows that liberals are notorious for voting multiple times--and that illegals will vote. It doesn't have as big an effect on national elections as it does local elections where the voting base is small.

As for Chauvin, historically it is not easy to convict cops in this situation; hell, most of the time the grand jury won't even indict.
But the political waters have become so turbulent of late: one can only hope that the jury separates evidence from media-fueled outrage.
Perhaps he'll be acquitted, nationwide rioting will ensue, and the cops will FINALLY get permission to use live ammo to put down the insurrection.
