I have been playing craps for 4 decades, often with big gaps as life happens.
I used to be (in the age of single odds) a three-unit player. That let me squeeze a little more juice out of the odds.
Now I bet a single unit (5/10/15 - I am a 'low-roller') on the pass. I take double odds. If I lose three points in a row, I move on.
If I win, I add two come bets, single unit with double odds. As bets repeat, I increase the odds.
Once the hot roll is done, I leave.
Comments? Thoughts?
Pretty smart, conservative play.
Me, I like to bypass the come out and start my serives by placing six and eight, usually for $12 each, take a hit or two then press the number that repeats and hope for the best.
If a good roll ensues I start spreading out, e.g. placing five and nine, snd then four and ten, but that is pretty rare.
Whatever works for you Hawk. Craps is awesome when the table is hot, not so much when no one seems to be able to hit the point. I had ups and downs in craps but haven't played in over a decade now. I've had as much as 3000 on the line with max odds and hit the point both myself and others, and then I also recall times when I had almost as much out there and crapped out in two or three rolls.
With Baccarat, when I walk up to the shoe, and it has a 9 Bank run (like today) or 11 Bank run (like yesterday) in it, that is an absolute. It is locked. I am going to get that run! But with craps, it's all random and there is no guarantee that a given table is going to have a certain outcome. A subtle, but all important difference.

You could maybe make an argument that his trip report thread, in particular, might be relegated to the Betting Systems sub-forum, but even that would have nothing to do with whether or not he could post there. So The offer was to move the thread to the "systems" section and I cannot post in that thread. I thought it worked like Norms forum and that meant you wouldn't see the thread on the main board (recent threads). I mean otherwise....what exactly did I get? Nothing. So after realizing that Mike moved the thread and it was still on the main board, I PMed him and told him I misunderstood and what I mistakenly thought. I mean this was an hour after the so called deal. He could have offered something else, but didn't.

But there is another thing about that forum that just came to my attention. We all KNOW MDawg is using sockpuppets. Hell Mdawg is even a sockpuppet of a previously banned member. He is getting away with this because he is using VPN's to hide IP matches and deflect where he is posting from. And Wizard is allowing that! That means Mike is approving of this shit! Hell, EVEN Dan Druff doesn't allow that.
Sockpuppets are always part of these fraud guys thing. When absolutely no one believes their bullshit claims, they make up imaginary friends and supporters. It really is a mental issue.
I see this completely differently. I see it as Shackleford moved a guy posting cancer quackery from the "Medical" section to the "Alternative Medicine" section. The guy will post as much if not more. The guy gets less pushback because some of the doctors in the "Medical" section have agreed to not challenge "Alternative" claims. The key questions are whether the profile of the quackery poster is improved by the switch and whether more or fewer people will buy into it because of the switch.Quote:

I'd say, at best, it's a push. I think, at worst, there's a good chance he gets more attention and he gets taken seriously by more civilians.

You are arguing that one line of disclaimer (attached to a section and not the specific poster) will somehow neutralize or override months and years featuring hundreds and eventually thousands of posts running tens of thousands of words. Even though your the guy closest to being a 50/50 man between both sites, you're home by default will always be here :) As far as VPN go, they are rare over at WOV, but like everything else the " man in charge" makes exceptions for certain posters. Here Druff allows them completely, there are at least 10-12 regulars, hmmm including yourself that use one. Very easy to tell. Over at PFA, Druff has zero tolerance for them.Quote:

It will take about 10 weeks before I get my Wall Tent and Gear for that Tent.
I've did a bunch of shopping for Camping Equipment since.
I had some coupon for my Bass Pro Shop Credit Card so I used it.
Probably wouldn't have but my Duel Fuel Colman Lantern was seized up because of no use for years and never aired it out or cleaned it.
Not easy to find them these days and I wouldn't doubt they discontinue them in the future.
Love them because they can run off of unleaded gas and my father always had one that was a different model.
It really brings back the memories seeing that glow and hearing that hiss.
I bought two and plan to buy more for storage just incase they do discontinue them.
So I bought a couple tents.
One was a tent that goes in the bed of the truck.
Napier Sportz Tent.
Have not even opened it out of the bag yet.
The other was a Coleman 6 Person Dark Technology Tent that was pretty cheap at around 160 dollars.
Not terrible but more of a Summer Camping Tent.
Not super easy to set up the first time but we figured it out.
A little bit drafty at night when the wind starts to blow.
It took me about an hour or so to pack my entire truck up with some help from the wife.
It took me about an hour and a half to set up the camp but only unload about 50% of the Truck.
I went out to Lake Mead but camped in the middle of the desert where you need a 4x4 and I found a decent spot away from the somewhat maintained gravel/sand road.
I made a few mistakes.
I camped for about 40 hours.
I figure it cost me about 17 dollars an hour for this run that includes items like the tent that can be re-used again bringing the hourly cost down over time.
I only burned a small amount of wood because trying to learn how to conserve supplies.
I used far too much water because the temperature was a bout 100 F in the daytime.
The Canopy Tent saved us but I forgot the canopy lol... had to use some blankets.
Still very hot and nothing to do but sit and wait it out.
We drank a ton of water.
I ended up using about 7 gallons per day.
I took two showers, my uncle took one.
Had to use dish soap because I got cute bringing this huge bar of soap that is meant for washing clothes.
My wife had it for over 10 years and never used it and I wanted to try it.
Turns out it leaves something on your skin/hands that would need hot water to wash it off.
Didn't like it.
Dish Soap actually worked good but not sure how good for you it is lol.
I used a butane one burner stove top to do the cooking.
Wife has it for shabu shabu but never uses it.
Worked good for boiling some water, cooking steaks, sausages and mushrooms.
We didn't eat very much.
All the other food/supplies were not used.
Over Prepared/Packed.
The whole point of this story/breakdown is that through dry camping you really find out how soft you are.
I'm obviously Very Soft Tofu.
Need to toughen up.
I'm not sure I can even classify myself as a Man anymore.
Modern Society and Conveniences has turned me into something worse than a little girl.
Now for some of the good.
Quiet.
Amazingly Quiet.
I had a perfect view for the Sunrise with a beautiful Red Stone Mountain View.
I camped up against a large Rock Wall blocking the sunset.
Good for blocking the wind though.
40 hours was enough time to realize how old, soft and dependent I am on TV, AC, Hot Showers... etc etc.
It is clear Men have been emasculated by these things.
That's a good thing to find out about yourself.
Some more good...
Fire is always nice and great to stare at while reflecting or having conversation with friends/family.
No TV or Radio/Music forces you to communicate with the people you are with.
Very Good Thing.
If you do this alone it forces you to talk to God or Yourself and Reflect.
I gambled too much with this first excursion.
Dry Camping far away from the road and deep into the wilderness not such a great idea.
Anything could of gone wrong like my Truck not starting or other things completely screwing us.
My uncle can't really navigate or operate that Truck.
In an Emergency... perhaps but not easy for him.
Let's say I had a stroke or heart attack or some other fatality.
He would be up shits creek.
I have to reassess this.
It's also true that if I die he is up shits creek.
I think its good to learn this but bad to gamble as much as I did.
Yes, very tiny odds but still far too much as I can find better situations.
I guess that is about it for now.
I'll be heading back out again in an area that is a bit cooler.
Obviously, I need more experience and time learning.
Trial and Error is the best/only way IMO.

1.) Start with $5 (I wouldn't play a higher minimum) on the Pass Line and make a $1 Any Craps, "Crap Check," bet.
2.) Come Out winner---same thing. Come out Craps---press the Crap bet to $2 and rack other winnings. The Crap Check gets pressed (doubled) on all other winning occasions and goes back to $1 in the event of a Come Out winner. A point being established takes the Crap down and this process restarts on the next Come Out roll---if there is one.
3.) Take 2x Odds on the Point, Place 6 & 8 for $6 each as well as with $1 on each for the dealers. If the Point is 6 or 8, then $6 on the other one and $1 for the dealers. Any Place Bets that are hit will be $3 ($1 + $2) and down for the dealers and I put them back up for another buck. I don't really press my Place Bets too often and I always have the crew going on 6/8. I'm basically making a $6 Big 6 and Big 8 bet since I'm only really getting even money since I know I am going to put the dealers back up anyway.
4.) If I establish and make three points in a row, then I will continue playing after a seven out. If I fail to establish and make three points in a row, then I will quit.
5.) If three points in a row are made, then the process starts from the beginning (Steps 1-4) after the eventual seven-out. At that point, I must establish and make another three points in a row to continue playing.
6.) Tip the dealers $5 if they did not win at least that on their Place 6 and Place 8 bets. The main casino where I play Craps actually allows the dealers to have an advantage on a $1 Place 6/8 toke bet because it pays 2:1, so that turns into $3 and down.
I play only rarely and am often not at the table very long. Don't want to accumulate too much -EV. I had an immediate PSO once and thought about trying again, but I didn't do it.

As I have been table-topping this play, I have modified my approach (based on the idea that $5 table are gonna be hard to find):
$10 pass line, take double odds. Play. Until either e repeat or three failed points, only one bet with double odds. Three losses in a row, break away. Cold table.
A win, then a pass line, double odds and then a come bet. Increase to two come bets on a win, then with each win increase the odds bets one unit to the max. On the inevitable seven, retire and count.

So someone with millions of assets and made millions in 2019 could get $3200 as long as they didn’t make too much in 2020. But with the employee shortage in the service industry currently going on there is better options out there. McDonalds in the Tampa area is starting at $12-$13 an hour and is paying $50 to just show up for an interview. Easy $50 for someone with time to spend on going.
