Ok, I have looked the other way during these rants, buying the excuse that they were just "venting", in large part because some here that met the guy claim that is not who he is. But we are less than 4 years removed from a mass shooting because some player with mental issues couldn't handle the losing and took revenge. If I were having a casual in-person conversation and mentioned being a paid writer, then the other guy demanded to see my tax returns, I can't say that I wouldn't reflexively just crack him one in the jaw...of course, nobody would ever behave like that in an in-person setting, which is the difference between nuts and internet nuts.
Anyway, this is where I back up KewlJ's very sensible point and get accused of being a KewlJ cultist, even though I'm not the one obsessed with bringing KewlJ into every Blackjack related conversation.
If KewlJ's claims are true, he makes more money than I do from gambling AND his particular form of AP is one of the most highly scrutinized. In short, his anonymity means more to him than mine does to me...as far as the casinos themselves are concerned. Originally, I wrote under my actual name and was quite surprised when that bit me in the ass with both a physical and an online casino...although, the online thing really shouldn't have surprised me as much as it did.
But, beyond that, it's not the same level of scrutiny. Maybe multi-carding could be a concern, but I don't think a casino is just going to automatically kick me out if they see me playing a slot machine or video poker...even using a card. I think most casinos tend to be, "Live and let live," with small-time machine guys like me who are mostly taking two and three figure sums out of there on any one visit.
Also, my post shouldn't be taken as a shot at ZK...other than the impossibility of anything rising to the level of, "Verifiable proof." Mostly, I got a great laugh at his thread title.
