That is a shame. I spend a number of days a year up in that area, Kyle Canyon, Lee Canyon, Mt Charleston. It is just a nice get-a-way from Vegas and just amazing how different weather and temperature can be just 30-40 minutes away with a little elevation.
I remember the Ellis family from Ellis Island buying this a few years back and having big plans for it that never seemed to come to fruition.
Only a cynical person would say this is a good thing for them based on financials and their insurance.

What's even funnier about poor kew is how he needs to make up that my life is in the tubes, when he knows a whole lot better. It isn't surprising that he has no idea what large retirement accounts are worth these days, seeing that he knows nothing about what working a real job means in life, and he has no financial future beyond the government handouts he's been receiving.

As far as this Mdawg, I didn't make up any alternative realities. He stated he grew up wealthy in a very wealthy family, giving examples from his childhood. The above post, has got to be about the saddest thing I have read on this forum. An insecure 'has been', or more accurately a 'never was' continues to scream "look at me, I used to be someone", long after all his claims have been proven to be bullshit.
No one and I mean no one claiming anywhere close to the success that this person claims, spends their life, 20+ years now, on internet forums, jealously attacking and hating others. That is just not what wealthy, successful people do. That is the single biggest "tell' of all these guys, like Singer, Blackhole, Mdawg. They are jealous and attack a player making much less than they CLAIM to have made.
The term for what these guys are doing is "punching down". Successful people as Singer claims and Mdawg claims about his gambling fantasies simply have no need to punch down at people making much less than them, That is how you know they are lying. That alone, more than anything else tells you their claims are made up and fantasy.
And just so there is no confusion, Mdawg is probably a wealthy guy from a wealthy family, it is his gambling related claims that are fantasy and that is why he is so bothered by a player averaging 80-100k a year. There is no way someone with his success would care about that.
Singer is a little different. He is not wealthy, never was. What money he had from a lifetime of working he gambled away and that is why is is so bitter at players, not just me but anybody, including all those years with Mickey, that has even a little success at doing what he failed at.
These guys continuing with all their hate and jealousy and "punching down" should prove to everyone who they really are and that simply does not match up with the claims of fortunes won via gambling. If even a fraction of their claims were true there would be no need for this seemingly "punching down". Only jealousy explains these obsessive attacks.
Here's what I would suggest for anyone wondering if Singer's double up bug stories are true. Singer wrote an origin story about his finding and using the double up bug. It was posted on Alan Mendelson's site. Singer also gave an interview to Shackleford regarding the double up bug claim.
So instead of listening to my opinion or mickey's opinion or kewlJ's opinion, I suggest anyone trying to figure it out contact Mendelson and get a copy of the Singer article. Then take the article and the YouTube address of the Shackleford interview to a police investigator whose job it is to determine the likely veracity of a statement or interview. Offer to pay the investigator a couple of hundred bucks for an opinion. Simply get a professional opinion from a person who evaluates written statements and interviews for a living. Whatever opinion you get is much better than anything you'd find on a forum.
Only think I would say to that Redeitz is an outside investigator or person wouldn't have the benefit of knowing Rob's 20 year history, all the lies that have been proven untrue, all the contradictions, all the changing stories and timelines. But whatever.
I am not going to go back and find it or even bother to look, but at WoV in the last week or so, someone linked to one of those Gambling Today articles that Rob used to write (for free). I haven't read all those articles, as it was before my time dealing or even knowing about Singer. So I read it. It was dated right smack in the middle of the time Rob now claims he was playing the double up bug.
In the article he was forcefully defending and explaining his Singer progression Video poker system, that at the time he was saying he had been playing for 10 years and winning millions of dollars. Many of the things he said were voodoo concepts, but it was typical Singer, very adamantly stating and defending these claims.
Now, I guess if you ask him about that today, he will say that was all a distraction to deflect from the double up bug. But if you read what he wrote, it was no deflection or distraction. This guy was very adamantly doing his thing about his fantasy claim at that time.
And then fast forward to I think it was 2012 or 2013, after the double up story broke with the article in the cigar publication, discussion broke out on this very forum. It was before my time, here but Rob's typical jealousy came shining through in his initial comments. He said the play was illegal and that Kane/Nestor should go to jail. I don't think people realize what a huge revelation that is. Think about it. Had Singer actually done the double up as he now claims, and been caught and charged even after the article, still within the statute of limitations, he wouldn't have been able to play dumb and say, he didn't know it was illegal, because he would be on record as saying it was illegal and Kane/Nestor should go to jail. :D
As said before, it's only a matter of time before Slinger regales us that he taught Grosjean all he knows. Just ignore the moreon.
Anyway, I don't want to rehash Singer and a claim already thoroughly debunked which he did when he tied the claim to the Newell purchase and then created one of the biggest troll fiasco ever with The RV dealership pictures.
I want to move on to Mdawgy. In recent weeks, Mdawg has moved from his baccarat claims to blackjack. Tales of card counting at a private double deck table where he is allowed to spread from $200 to $20,000 because casinos and pit folks just "don't care". They are perfectly fine with a card counter spreading 1-100 on a high limit double deck game. :D (the emojis we have here just aren't sufficient). One day last week he won 60k playing blackjack card counting. But that is ok, because las Vegas, casinos and pit just don't care about such things. They just want his action and to pile on comps.
So yesterday, Mdawg was back at baccarat. His blackjack fantasies weren't creating the buzz he was seeking except by me, a professional player pointing out the absurdity of these fantasy claims. So yesterday back to baccarat were he won 83K. Why not? The casinos and pit don't care about a guy that has now won millions on his 6 month stay. Because that is the way Las Vegas works. :rolleyes:
So anyway, I want to go back to something Shackleford said both privately and publicly to me. I can say it because Shack did say this publicly. When asked about Mdawgs claims, Wizard stated that given a large bankroll, he could register many small wins, before it caught up to him as well. Mike didn't say the words Martingale or progression, but that is what he was saying. That is the way progression systems work. Many small wins until the big loss wiping them all away and then some.
Back then, Mdawgs claims were mostly small wins, 5k here, 16 hundred the next day, 7k after that. Mike was saying with a BR of a couple hundred k a player could play a progression registering many small wins before it caught up with him.
BUT NOW....Mdawg has escalated his claims, as these guys always do and HAVE to do to generate the the attention and discussion. Now Mdawg is winning 60k, 83k, a number of days over 100k. I really would like to hear Wizard's thoughts on this.
Anyway, Mdawg is up to millions won, over a 6 month stay, all comped in high end suites because THAT is the way Las Vegas works and casinos and pit folks just don't care. They are happy for him and can't wait to heap even more riches upon him, pat him on the back and shake his hand.
I will give Mdoggy this; He may be the greatest of all time.....gambling fiction/fantasy writer that is. :cool:
