San Antonio vs. Orlando - Under 212
My first NBA bet of the season.

San Antonio vs. Orlando - Under 212
My first NBA bet of the season.
Indiana -2 at Washington
Beal just announced out a short time ago
Starting in a few
Lost a close one in OT. 0-2 start to the season.
Ploppy time
Minnesota -7.5 vs. New Orleans
Wow, lost by 0.5 at the last second due to a 3-point foul.
Starting in a few:
Indiana +105 vs. Milwaukee
Holiday OUT, LaVert OUT, Lopez OUT
+2 ok
0-4 now. Ouch.
At the risk of going 0-5 to start the season....
New Orleans +190 vs. Atlanta
Ugh... so close. A bad non-foul call with 8.5 left with NO down 100-99 doomed them.
Today:
Houston +9.5 vs. Utah
Another loss. Historically bad start for me.
Today:
Toronto vs Orlando - Under 206.5
New Orleans +105 vs. Sacramento
Would you tail an 0-8 NBA handicapper?
You would?
Then this pick is for you.
Boston vs. Chicago - Under 215.5
I took the weekend off to adjust things.
Somehow I'm 0-9 despite having 3 unders in those picks, even with unders doing well for everyone else this year.
Here are two picks on the same game, coming up in a little more than an hour:
Clippers at Minnesota - Under 212.5
Clippers -2.5 at Minnesota
Kawhi/Preston/Ibaka/Morris OUT for Clippers, Russell OUT for Minnesota
Finally won a game. Took 11 picks, but I did it. LOL
Thanks, Clippers.
Now 1-10 for the year. Obviosuly not something to be proud of.
Was waiting for the status all day about questionable Brogdon and Lamb in the Pacers/Blazers game.
Finally, some clarity. Both are out.

Portland -5.5 vs Indiana
Lost that game above.
Indiana had a nice lead and blew it, only winning by 4.
First NBA pick in awhile:
Clippers vs. Minnesota - Under 220.5
Kawhi/Ibaka/Morris/Preston OUT
Lost again. My worst run ever, now 1-12.
OKC isn't as bad as you think. They won 4 in a row, beating the Lakers, Spurs, Pelicans, and Kings, before finally getting blown out by the Nets last time.
Miami is missing 3 key players.
OKC +220 vs. Miami
MIA: Adebayo/Butler/Odapiyo/Morris OUT
OKC: Bazley/Favors/Muscala OUT
Lost again. Should have bet first half, though that tied anyway. Next time in a dog game with a bad team I'm backing, I'm doing 1H.
Last minute total bets:
Miami vs. Washington - Under 207 (206.5 ok)
Golden State vs. Cleveland - Over 208.5
Lost both on the 18th. Took a week break to regroup.
Jumping back in:
OKC +165 vs Washington -- FIRST HALF ONLY
New Orleans at Utah - Over 218.5
San Antonio vs. Boston - Under 213.5
Went 1-2 above. Really annoying with that OKC pick. They were up 6 with 1:28 left in 1H, and ended up giving 8 straight to lose the half by two. Should've won it.
Zach LaVine was sick today... and suddenly he's not sick, and he's playing.
Upon the announcement of his suiting up, the totals line jumped 1.5 points.
I'm going to take those 1.5 points and fire the under. LaVine probably won't be 100%, and in fact some are surprised he suited up at all.
Chicago vs. Charlotte - Under 224.5
Lost that under. This is a mind-bogglingly bad start.
Against my better judgment:
Houston at OKC - Over 216.5
Dallas at New Orleans - Over 216
Finally a 2-0 day a week ago.
Tonight:
I hate to lay so many points with the Suckramento Kings, but it is the Magic on the road...
Sacramento -7.5 vs. Orlando
Won again, though a little drama at the end.
Last minute:
Atlanta at Brookyln - Over 227.5
Terrible luck... 180 points after 3Q, still lose.
Today:
New Orleans +110 at San Antonio (+2 ok)
Williamson still out
Tied through 3.... then a collapse.
Today:
Riding the Cleveland train (plus Butler is out):
Cleveland -5.5 vs Miami
Also:
Milwaukee -1 at Boston
split 'em yesterday... Cleveland covered, Milwaukee did not.
Today's Nets/Raptors game is crazy.
Durant is playing. However, the Nets are missing Harden, Aldridge, Bembry, Johnson, Milsap, Brown, and Carter from COVID protocols. Then they're also down Harris from an injury a few weeks ago, and of course no Kyrie for a long time.
Raptors aren't doing badly COVID-wise, but Tragic Dragic is still out, and Banton is ill. They're also still missing Birch and Anunoby. Raptors also playing back-to-back.
Anyway, I think I'll fire moneyline on this one. +150 on BOL right now
Toronto +150 at Brooklyn
Charlotte at Utah - Over 238
Yay.. finally a win.
Tonight:
Denver at Golden State - Over 218
Gordon questionable, Draymond out
Curry had 0 points through most of the first half. Not good. Lost.
Today:
Atlanta +195 at Chicago - FIRST HALF
Also:
Dallas at Sacramento - Over 220.5
Let's hope 2022 goes better than the end of 2021 in the NBA for me.
Cleveland -6 at Portland
Let's hope two thousand twenty-two goes better than the end of two thousand twenty-one in the NBA for me.--->
Freedom of the press belongs to those who own one.

Almost as good as my post #0573, about to Sir, with Love, in which the digits represent the ones in the avatar of love. Bet no one caught that, and a couple of other things to do with it, ha.

1-0 in 2022
Okay... I'll stay on the Cleveland train... even though it got derailed some (until the last 2 games).
Cleveland +8 at Golden State
Starting shortly
Oops. That didn't work out with Cleveland last week.
Remember the days when Utah was consistently a low-scoring, defense-oriented team?
Look at them now.
It has been about a month since both teams didn't score over 100 in a Utah Jazz game.
In 2022, totals have been: 239, 219, 224, 230, 238, 242
Today I'll do this:
Cleveland at Utah - Over 223.5
COVID basketball though, at least on Utah's side
Lost that 1/12 pick above.
Starting in a few:
Boston vs. Portland - Under 212 (Lillard/Powell/Zeller/Nance OUT, Smart OUT)
Lost the under above with less than a second left. Fun. Fouling killed me.
Taking the under on a team which just scored 158 points in regulation? Sure, why not?
Charlotte vs. Lakers (Lebron/AD OUT, Hayward OUT) - Under 227
Also
New York at Milwaukee - Under 216.5
Portland a fail lineup since all the trades.
Both them and Lakers back-to-back.
Portland vs. Lakers - Under 222
Adding Lakers -8 to same game
Shouldn't have added on. Went 1-1
Today:
Clippers at Dallas - Under 215.5
This has become really embarrassing. Barely lost, but still lost.
Today:
Ploppy pick against the horrible road dog.
Knicks -10 vs. Oklahoma City
And if you don't have time to bet the above, there's this also:
New Orleans vs. Toronto - Under 219.5
1-1 yesterday. Won the under.
Last minute
Atlanta -2.5 vs. Cleveland
Can we go for 2 in a row?
Dallas has been doing surprisingly well recently, and the Pelicans suck. That's among several reasons I like the Mavericks tonight.
Nance is out.
Dallas -2.5 at New Orleans
Lakers/Clippers under 221.5
Lebron is playing, but was questionable. A few minutes away from start.
Yay... 2 wins in row.
Today:
Sacramento -5.5 at OKC
Miluwakee vs. Charlotte - Under 238
Last minute, but this goes along with the theme of blowouts against bad teams:
Clippers -7 at Houston
(btw, I've won 4 straight now)
Won again. 5 in a row now.
Last minute:
Detroit +7.5 vs. Atlanta
One more last minute:
Chicago at Philly - Over 233.5
Final pick:
Minnesota vs. Portland - Under 229.5
You have an hour to bet this one
2 of 3 won, only lost the Chicago over. Sadly, I forgot to bet the Minnesota under, so I personally went 1-1! Ugh.
Today:
New Orleans at Memphis - Under 227.5
Clippers at Golden State - Over 224.5
Last 4 totals for Golden State (no OT): 243, 235, 240, 255
0-2 yesterday, to slow down my nice 7-1 streak preceding it.
Tonight:
Denver -6.5 at Suckramento
Barton OUT
Sabonis OUT (suspended)
Holmes OUT
Going to start looking at alt lines on favorites very soon, as I think there might be some good value there against tanking teams.
Just barely lost, thanks to a turnover at the end by Denver, who won by 6. Ugh.
Okay, I'm tired of watching the Lakers lose as favorites and not getting any money out of it.
They're a mess right now. Defense was absolute shit last game, and they lost to the lol Rockets.
Washington +168 at Lakers
Washington had a great first half, then collapsed.
Sucks I pick the one Lakers game where they stepped up.
Anyway, here's today:
Denver -6.5 at Washington
Okay... now at 4:40 PDT there is another game, which will be the first I bet this way.
I found BOL has an alt line of +285 on Knicks -20.5.
While the Knicks are by no means a great team, they have won by wide margins in 3 of their last 5 games, all on the road as well!
Portland is getting blown out routinely. The actual line on this game is Knicks -13/-12.5 (depending on the book), so you're basically getting about 3x your money on them winning by 21+ instead of 13.
Does anyone know of any other reliable books which have such lines? The problem with BOL is that this is in the prop section, so I imagine you're paying some kind of shitty juice here, whereas true alt lines might be better elsewhere.
Won 'em both
Today:
New Orleans +110 at San Antonio
Starting in a few
Spread on NO (around -2) also ok
Won it easily in a blowout the whole way.
Today:
New York +140 vs. Utah
Bogdonavic / Conley / House OUT
Reverse trap pick
Houston +140 vs. Washington (+3 ok)
Portland vs San Antonio - under 231
Winner again yestereday.
Starting soon:
Milwaukee has no Giannis and no Middleton.
Wizards should avenge their disasterous collapse against the Rockets last time out (which won my bet for me), and will cover. Not confident enough in that failteam to win outright, so I'll stick to this.
Washington +8.5 at Milwaukee
Lost the Washington game, but they were within 6 at one point with less than 1 minute left.
Today:
Dallas vs. Utah - Under 214
Weird game yesterday. Looked awful going into the 4th. Then scoring was dead throughout most of the middle of the quarter, and with just 1:37 left, there were only 203 points scored in a blowout game.
Somehow only tied, and sadly an offensive rebound and putback on the final play of the game was what pushed it from 212 to 214.
----
Today:
Time for a blowout bet.
Sacramento is missing Fox, Sabonis, Jackson, and Holmes. Normal line is Miami -13.5.
Miami -20.5 +300 vs. Sacramento
Hit the Miami +300 alt bet, though I almost lost it at the last second (thankfully a brick).
Today:
Okay, I'm a bit late to the party -- the line was much better earlier, but I decided I like it.
New Orleans -20.5 +215 vs. Portland
Regular line is -15 now, so you're only needing another 6 points.
That one wasn't a good pick. Never on pace to cover.
Today:
Lakers with no AD/Lebron again. Jazz had a brutal road trip where they went 0-5, falling to under .500 on the road, but 26-11 at home. Note that the altittude in Salt Lake City is 4200, and is enough to make players more tired if they're not used to it.
Utah in danger of falling into 7th seed, which would force them into that play-in tournament.
I smell a beatdown coming.
Utah -20.5 +250 vs Lakers
Lost that one, despite Utah being in a place to cover the -20.5 with about a minute left.
Today:
Tempting to fade the Lakers for what is very likely to be their elimination game. However, Phoenix has looked crappy lately, so I can't trust them to cover big.
Instead, let's go with this meaningless game:
Oklahoma City -4.5 vs Portland
OKC/Portland - Under 221.5
what are we saying about 22/23? seems like such a mess now 50% of teams are going to tank for this alien chap
