There are two things that bother me about Jstats decades long crusade.
1.) is that he found some minor error in the first printing of Thorp's Beat the Dealer, an error that was acknowledged and corrected and Jstat uses that to try to discredit both Thorp and hi-lo. This tiny error changes nothing.
2.) the second thing is these guys that promote some sort of specialty count, like "the Jstat count" which Jstat has promoted for years, have this need to try to convince everyone that their count or methodology is the only way. They have to try to say that hi-lo or any other count doesn't work. That the only way to win is using their count that they are promoting.
We have seen this with Jstat, and the guy at Norms forum, T3, promoting his "super-duper count' a decade ago, as well as a guy that went by Flash, that was a proponent of Hi-opt2 and even to some extend by the late Moses. It isn't enough that they opine the advantages (usually very exaggerated), of whatever they are promoting, but they have to try to convince people that their count is the only way.
And THIS despite that ten's of thousands of players, including all the somewhat famous teams from Uston, to MIT, to European teams have all used and won millions playing hi-lo. It is just an exercise in delusion, I guess to promote whatever they are promoting.
The only fraud in this thread is jshit, err jstat, himself!

Your videos have always had an element of setting up or stacking the deck in a manner that would benefit what you are promoting. This is a trick all the youtube scammers do as well. But I have never seen you do so as blatantly as in this video.
If a player is going to side count a card it should be a card that has a lot of value, either positive like an Ace (the most common card sidecounted) or negative value like the 5.
Besides that there is little value in side counts, if a player is side counting a card or multiple cards that are also counted in their primary count as you are doing, they are basically counting that card twice which will over value any excess or depletion of the card. Basically it negatively detracts from the primary count.
And finally a player, that does choose to side count a specific card can tell you exactly where he might find value in knowing an excess of depletion of that card. For example knowing an excess of Aces with make the remaining cards +EV, even if the primary count is neutral. And conversely knowing the remaining cards are depleted in aces will make a seemingly positive count not +EV. AND they can tell you what hands they would play differently. So I would like to hear, what hands will you be playing differently. Are you going to hit 13's vs a dealer bust card of 5 or 6? Are you going to double down your 12 or 13 vs the dealer 10?
Back in the day, several players like Uston and Revere wanted to have counts that had their names for the notoriety of it. But they never actually played the counts that carried their names, because they were garbage. That is what I see from you. You want some kind of notoriety of a count with your name or the handle you go by despite that it is complete rubbish.
I also have one other issue that I will mention here. It is something Jstat sort of said, but it is not specific to him. That is players lumping 6 and 8 deck games together. On the surface a 6 deck game and an eight deck game seem similar, but they are very, very different. On the surface it looks like an addition house advantage of .03 percent...almost nothing. For the basic strategy, flat betting player that would be a negligible difference. He likely wouldn't notice any difference in results between playing 6 and 8 decks.
But a card counter depends on the true count frequencies, for placing his higher wagers which makes all the difference and those true count frequencies are humongous different between 6 and 8 decks.
For example pretty standard H17,75% penetration true count frequencies comparing 6 deck to 8 deck. Lets compare true count of +4 since that is a point many players place their top or max wager. 8 deck you will see a TC of +4, 1.88% of the time. 6 deck it is 2.45% of the time. That is a increase of 33% of max bet opportunities which translates directly to win rate.
If you look at TC of +4 and above the difference is even more dramatic. 8 deck 3.62% of rounds will be play at Tc of +4 or greater. 6 deck it is 5.21%. That is an increase of 44% of max bet opportunities.
Depending on exact rules and penetration there could be a difference in actual win rate of up to 50% between a 6 deck game and 8 deck game.

You know, I have a business relationship and I consider a friend in/with one of the top AP's here in Vegas. I work on some plays with him and his team some over the last couple years, as I have diversified a bit. I think most Vegas based APs, and I assume even non-Vegas APs are aware of that by now and have confirmed that, which is why no real APs or very few every doubt anything about me. But feel free to doubt all you want.
More than what you say or think about me, your comments about Munchkin are just not right. I don't know if you have some kind of bone to pick with Munchkin or something, but he is a top AP, and plays with the same top AP that I sometimes work with on all sorts of things besides card counting. You making the comments you made, just diminishes any credibility you may have had, in my opinion.
I really don't have a problem with you Jstat, other than you have pushed a narrative about hi-lo that just is not true for decades now. I don't doubt that you were/are a somewhat successful recreational, or part-time card counter. But that is far different than playing for a living, and playing the stakes necessary to make even a modest living and devising a plan that allows you to be able to keep being welcome to play. These are just things a recreational player just can't know about.

Conrad Johnson M-200 mosfet amplifier
Chapman T7 speakers.
The Chapmans are cool: built by a guy on Vashon island near Seattle; I bought them pre Y2K; last year I paid him $3500.00 to upgrade to current production standards, which involved replacing all three speaker drivers and the crossover using the best parts currently available.
Both systems sound sublime.
I could describe / tell you about the home theater and the other two stereo systems but that would be pointless as you are happy with what you have and are not open to new learning.
Oh, as for the six days a week: the Health and Fitness center is closed on Sunday.

I attached to the bottom of the bed on a tilting 360 swivel-mounted 60" in my bedroom. I have a 24" monitor attached to the top of the 60" I made the mount myself. It's all hooked up to a hidden remote 4 port KVM switch and share my mouse with 2 hidden laptops, 2 mini computers in a fanned air-ported leather storage ottoman.
