First dealt one ever.
Nice!
As Ole Norman Chad would say....
"Good for you!"
Pretty much KJ's standard freeplay hand.
Nice find (probably had to scout a lot of screens to find that one) and hit. How come you ten-coined it ?
Beautiful!
Only if it would have came one hand later @ 4x = $160k
Definitely once in a lifetime hit.
Very nice, Druff. Congrats
Alright... even I have to give credit where credit is due.
Nicely Done!
Notice the reflections. I see other nearby machines, a curious onlooker, like you would expect to see. But oddly, no stored away exercise equipment. What is up with that?
Congratulations! What a nice hit.
I guess you didn't take a picture of the next hand with all the 4x multipliers???
Would be more impressive if you told us it was hit using free play
Okay, so I have a question for everyone here.
I did something stupid.
After this massive hit, they did a million verification checks and all that. I was waiting for quite some time to get paid.
Near the end of the process, one of the employees kept asking another, "Can I reset it now?" and they kept delaying her. Finally they said she could "reset it", and she did something (I forget what), and then she said I could continue playing. I said, "Actually I'm done now, can't top this".
I noticed my Royal was NOT on the screen anymore. It was some completely different set of hands. I did not look if the game had switched, but I know that her "resetting" made it change to my Royal to this new screen.
In all the excitement, I forgot to run my final 4x multiplier on those 10 hands!
I just realized it today. Of course, it was long gone when I went down to check.
But what happened here? Had the Royal stayed on screen, it would have reminded me to run the last hand (without the UX bet).
However, given that it was different, I forgot all about the 4x being there.
My questions for you VP geniuses:
1) What was this "reset" she kept talking about?
2) How come the Royal disappeared after the reset, whereas other handpays keep the same screen up, no matter how long?
3) Is it possible they stiffed me me out of $150 or so EV here by resetting the entire machine out of 4x mode?
Not a gigantic deal, but annoying. I wish I noticed at the time.
The BIG question:
Tip or NO tip?
I know how you feel about tipping, and I actually agree with you. I'm assuming you took a check for security reasons, as well as, the staff not feeling they had a "right" to several Hundos off the top of the stack!
Unsure about the resetting, apparently they reset the machine (as opposed to rebooting from memory) if there's a jackpot over a certain amount. Sounds like it's intended to protect against DUP style bugs.
It's got to be against regulations though for a game with stored equity.
I've hit many jackpots in the 40k to 100k range and never had anyone ever reset my machine.
I've either played it off or refused to play it off.
Must be a per property thing or something new.
In some places, that jackpot wouldn't even be a hand pay if you're on Fast Pay.
In other places, like the El Cortel they take the hard drive to the back room and check it for a 10k or higher jackpot lol.
If you hit a large jackpot in some downtown properties, on graveyard, they literally make you wait till the day shift Mechanics/IT Guys come in.
That's a pain, IMO.
I know you went in giddy mode, but this reset was the simple keying they do on every handpay to clear the jackpot credits. Sounds like the gal had to be told by the suits when to proceed.
You had $262 still available to cashout or play after the reset, so there's zero chance they would have changed the game on you, especially on that particular game. And no way they used one of your credits to play it off w/o consent. Maybe in your excitement you cashed out and weren't paying attention to what was happening. They could have played it off by inserting a dollar or $1 ticket. I always refuse to play small or large winners off and it's not required. Where did you hit this, and are you a familiar face there who's hit other handpays? On my $1.5m hit (not arguing it again) at Circa--yes CIRCA, where I've hit a number of other jackpots up to $40k prior, they were familiar with my not wishing to gamble further after being paid, so I'm sure they never left the winners showing after the cashout but I never paid attention or cared.
Tipping is unnecessary and I wouldn't have left one unless you are a regular and they do anything special for you. Otherwise, tipping just because they lather you up with tip talk isn't wise.
I also congratulate you on this winner, and the fact that it was your first dealt Royal. They ARE exciting.
This reminds me of the time I and a vulturing partner/friend found a Golden Egypt at $187.50 per spin with columns 1 and 3 wild for the next spin and with the screen showing that reels 1 and 3 had been wild for the last spin. What I assumed happened is that the person who generated the play got so excited about the hand pay that they forgot to play off the 2nd of two wild spins. It was like finding $1800 on the ground.
Todd didn't show the pay table, but 9/7/5 DB UX can readily be found and isn't a terrible game.
Here's a (legal) online 9/6/5 game listed at 99.03%:
Coach, IIRC jbjb is an AP who feels too much info about AP opportunities is posted on these boards.
Given that, is it surprising that he chooses not to clue you in?
When he says 9/7/5 DB UX can readily be found he probably means HE can find it, hell he probably already knows where one or more are, and to him that's all that matters.
Besides, you treat people like shit here: why then would you expect anything in return other than scorn?
UX is a tricky game. Here's the DB I mentioned from online:
Only 97.80 base, but 99.03 max bet.
On the same UX 10play game menu, Triple Double Bonus:
Much higher 99.57 base, but max bet only adds 0.01.
And I assume the strategies are weird because you have to go for flushes and straights to get the big next-hand multipliers.
While we're on this topic, is there a UX strategy app?
I know how to generate the strategies from WoO's calculator but obviously it would be much more convenient to have an app with a bunch of presets.
He said it was readily found, then his next post said it was replaced a year ago.
Duh. I didn't expect him to tell me, he doesn't know.
He's a proven phony, just like your boy tewlj.
And yeah, I treat people who shit on others like shit.
What goes around comes around. That's what they deserve.
Like you, you shit on others.
So eat shit.
This is the one I'm aware of:
https://www.playperfectllc.com/ultim...d-bonus-streak
It looks good for evaluating tough decisions during play, assuming no concerns about heat from security or surveillance.
I'm not sure it's ideal for my preferences, as I like to play from a strategy chart. I find learning through practice to be inefficient.
*Wipes shit-eating grin off face and starts to type...*
Gee Coach, chill out: he said that one machine with the game on it was changed to no longer offer that game from a particular place about a year ago.
Obviously that game can be found on other machines located elsewhere; he knows where, you don't, and he won't tell you.
That's all supposition, based on facts not in evidence.
He brought up the game, and said that it was readily available.
Dom commented that he had never seen it.
jb's bluff was called, then he promptly folded...
Not a machine...the machine. He didn't mention other games located elsewhere.
Why not? What's the point of responding to Dom that way?
Obviously it's because he doesn't know of any others, or he would have disclosed that, and not cited only an example of the game that was not readily available.
I asked where, and he answered that he wouldn't tell me, not that he won't.
Won't is a certainty...he knows, but won't tell me.
Wouldn't is conditional...what condition could that be?
If he knew, then he wouldn't tell me.
He doesn't know...he's a phony, a proven phony from way back at that.
I've never seen 9/7/5 UX Double Bonus. The game would have to be around 100% because the 9/6/5 listed on Wizard of Odds is 99.04. Wizard also has the strategies for these games. But he doesn't have 9/7/5 listed. He's showing 9/6/5 as the best payscale.
Looking at the strategy, the 9/6/5 UX DB strategy is almost the same as single line 10/7/5 DB strategy.
So if you have a 9/7/5 version of the game then you are going to be holding 3 card flushes whether they have 1 or 2 high cards in them.
https://wizardofodds.com/games/video...es/ultimate-x/
Links to the strategies are at the bottom of the page.
He does list 9/7/5 DB on the UX single-line page (Five Star Poker machines), indicated at 99.21%. But I don't know how he arrives at that number because he doesn't list the multipliers. Usually on single-line, the straight multiplier is cut from 8 to 7. But imo a further major cut is needed to achieve 99.21. Maybe the FH is cut from 12 to 11.
Seems like the designers regretted the big EV boosts they gave for playing the max-bet bonus. Generally the newer game designs give only a small enticement to play the bonus.
I'm lost as usual.
I wasn't aware of a tier credit multiplier in Vegas, although Monday the 20th would be a reasonable start date if they did a midweek going into Thanksgiving.
He wasn't vulturing multipliers.
He insta-quit after the jackpot, so I doubt he was playing to a particular TC target.
Worse!
He quit and didn't play off all the 4x multipliers :(
Or even worse!!
They tricked him and blanked his screen wiping all the multipliers away :(
THE HORROR!!
Or even better?
They tricked him and changed the game because they knew he would quit.
And after he left, they had their confederate scoop up all the free money!
I was wondering if this guy lurking in the reflection was waiting to swoop in and play off the multipliers or maybe he was just waiting to use the exercise equipment they keep in VP high limit rooms?
Hmmm...the faint image does sort of look like Todd.
Compare the two.

Nah, already thought of that. Its not him.
Plus he is the one taking the picture. How could he be sitting in front of the machine taking a picture on his phone to post here & also be way off to the side in the background looking on?
I think it's Rob's son....
Had to blow it way up but solved it. It’s quite obviously Jimmy Hoffa.
Very good!
It could always be Christopher Mitchell too, the number 1 professional gambler and gambling consultant in the world.
Lots of funny stuff being released by the little people who are nervous over the growing realization that what I posted wasn't "fake". And I understand the desire to believe the cash in the safe is prop stuff---I really do!
But how about this: where is the proof this was hit by Dan....why no stupid comments, demands for more details, and all these other things envious posters dream up? And don't be saying "well gee whiz Rob, Dan is our administrator, a professional poker player, and a gosh darn stand-up kinda guy!" He's also an expert with computers, he's been caught in several lies, and he NEEDS gaming forum cred. Plus he plays online poker, and Jewish people are taking it in the chops these days. Nuff said?
Typical of those who struggle with facts they don't like. Every criticism and twisted claim any of you have ever said or made was just made up and proven wrong.
My win wasn't in a "high limit room". It was in a near-private location I requested they set the play up in in order to reduce or not have any onlookers. I realize most of you idiots have zero experience with ultra high limit vp play and will never be able to get involved with it, so further explanations and insults will just waste my time.
And wise up.
Historically, Dan has posted that he often uses video poker to advance his rewards card levels at various properties (full pay jacks or better for example) in situations where the coin-in and RTP are advantageous for racking up tier points. In this case, he is using UX Double Bonus Poker to advance his points almost certainly because this particular game has a good pay table and rate of tier point accumulation versus coin-in. He decided, after such an amazing hit, to relax and enjoy the win - perhaps resuming his card advancement at some later time. That's all that Mickey was posting about. My first post in this thread was just a joke - I knew that Dan did not vulture this play (and inexplicably bet 10 coins instead of 5 on the vultured play).
I get a ton of casino email from CZR. It's literally 5 or 6 emails a week. Offers from around the country and Las Vegas. Some of these offers include multipliers like 5X or 10X or "Up to 100X"
I know that all of their casinos will offer 5X and 10X days to the public with the dates published well in advance. So now I'm wondering if the 5X/10X they send me are coordinated with the dates where everyone is getting the multiplier. Or is the offer taylor made just for me? If they send out these taylor made offers then Dan may have had a multiplier day that no one else was getting.
I'll start going thru my mail and see if I can figure it out.
My Dan knowledge is lacking, and I take full responsibility for that.
Yes, I can see it as a good play within context of the Vegas properties.
I mostly only see the Nevada marketing, and I'm not very established in Vegas. Outside Vegas afaik, everyone plays the same promos on the same occasions, but valued players may receive add-ons with their invitations. Could be free hotel or guaranteed free play. Multiplier promos are usually looser on reward credits (points) than tier credits, but not always. Lately it seems TC multipliers have inflated. Places that never went above 5x are now doing occasional 10x. I see more complaints than ever that tier status doesn't mean anything because everyone's Seven Stars.
Vegas though doesn't run the typical slate of advertised promos, so if there's any region relying on targeted promos, Vegas would be the one.
Dan's got a thread out there about ways to beeline to diamond status at various properties - IIRC they involved Jacks or Better. In this case here it is UX DB. Here are some sample threads.

Rob, I can show proof to anyone who wants to meet me, regarding the reality of that jackpot. I think only a moron would doubt this. What could possibly be the reason for me to make this up?
I talked to a slot employee roaming around. I asked her what the whole "reset" was about, and why the screen changed after they did it, whereas it never has changed before after every other handpay I've had.
She didn't know, and she wasn't familiar with how this "reset" would have been different than the others, but conceded it was possible for jackpots over $50k. However, she said last she heard, the standard was $100k, not $50k.
So I didn't get anything useful, even though she was nice. I guess I'll never know.
What type of proof carries the requirement that it must be presented in person?
The criteria for proof in these instances always seems to be in dispute.
It would be helpful if you would explain what constitutes proof.
A delineated set of actions could serve as an accepted standard.
The original W2-G issued at the time of the win by the casino is "proof."
I'd insist on seeing and inspecting the original as opposed to having an alleged copy posted online to look at (could be faked).
I'll just go ahead and take his word for it....
What about the claims (however modest they might be) of a known addict-alcoholic who was ostensibly booted out of the legal profession before retirement age?
LOL
You dumb fuck: yeah, I smoke weed but it's been over two decades since I drank alcohol, and I quit that because I felt I was on the road to alcoholism...not because I was an alcoholic.
I quit "cold turkey" because I wanted to, just as I quit tobacco prior to that: I never had any legal or other alcohol-related troubles other than I felt I was starting to drink too much.
What about the claims of a guy who says he's a lawyer in California but spends what seems to be most if not all of his time gambling in Las Vegas strip casinos?
Dawg, I'm sorry that I neglected to add YOUR name to Robert's in my post above about "known" bullshitters: it won't happen again.
You make a lot of assumptions, including that I live and practice only in California, but your in response to my post is a huge tell.
You think you're a clever hound, but it is so easy to throw you off the scent.
Now you're really confused; "Was he disbarred? Did he steal from his clients? Did he beat his wife? Did he get a DUII?"
So many questions...hey, you say that you're a man of means, you can just "Release the Kraken" and figure it out, LOL.
Sure, pay thousands to PI's and forensic experts to discover my identity and whether I, unlike you, prefer truth to fantasy.
To your credit you admit that some outside force precipitated your early departure from the legal profession. Which in turns adds credibility to anything else you claim.
Unlike your sidekick FraudJ who just piles new lies on top of old lies sociopathically in all UNKewl matters. And can’t admit his lies until utterly cornered.
Why does this fucktard troll Mdawg need to discredit MrV, as he does with Axelwolf, myself and about 20 others that have called out his claim as BS.
Oh, I guess I answered my own question. MrV isn't even an AP, or if he does some APing it is recreational. He is a self-described recreational gambler. But because he is smart enough to know how things work and doesn't believe your stupid (and it really is) adventure claim, you need to try to tear him down, even lying about his professional career, that he is long since retired from?
You are fucked up Mdawg. You can smear and try to discredit every single person that says they don't believe your "story" and it changes nothing! It makes your story no more credible or believable. Just makes you look like the asshole that you are.
Should I quote and repost what Dan Druff said? You going to go after him? :D
