Ozzy hasn't posted since October 22, 2023. Not that long, really, however, I looked at his frequency of posting in 2023 (I didn't look back further than that one year) and, he was posting every month pretty regularly, and then, nothing, so his absence might be indicative of something.

We need more gems like these, so if you are around, please return to carry the UNKewlJ bashing torch.

Whenever I vacation it (hyperbolically) seems to me that everybody is on their phones constantly, whether they be poolside, on the beach, on the mountain, in their golf cart, in a store, in a restaurant, in a museum, at a concert...anywhere and everywhere.

I believe I knew who he was on previous forums. I don't read pfa enough to ever have picked up on who his acct was but he figured out who I was from 2+2. Not many people around from then. Then it became clear to me who it must be but he'd never confirm. If he is the person I thought then he was known for keeping his identity very secret.

At some point I was under the impression tableplay knew him to some degree.

But yes I have suspected for some time that something happened to him. He was in 'the game' for many years. lol

He was heavily into religion. Used to talk about teaching at a College or something. Had his own ideas of space and time. I don't remember anything bad about him.

Bob21 was a transplant from Norm's blackjack forum. One of several members, including Bosox, and a few others, that showed up here, after Midwest player made posts that I was here. Bob21's card counting and blackjack advantage play knowledge wasn't very good or accurate. If I had to guess, I would guess he was probably a recreational gambler, more than just blackjack, who developed an interest in card counting, maybe hoping to win a little instead of losing all the time at casinos. And there is nothing wrong with that.

On this forum his interests strayed from blackjack pretty quickly and he had an opinion on everything. Nothing wrong with that either. I just didn't read all his thoughts on every topic. I do remember him voicing that he didn't believe Rob's double-up bug claim, And Rob attacked him suggesting he was taking his marching orders from me, which was pretty crazy. He and I disagreed on many thing blackjack and other. More than we agreed. There was a period both at Norm's forum and here that I though Bob21 might have been Moses. Especially at Norm's forum when he showed up just after Moses had been banned. But in hindsight he almost surely wasn't.

Bob21 became a big critic of covid and how we were handling it in this country. He thought we were over-reacting. And then ironically, as a very active poster over a short period, he suddenly stopped posting in July 2020, at the height of covid illnesses and death. I suspect he was an older guy from his posts, and maybe that old Chinese virus caught up with him.

I guess he will remain a mystery. Bad read on my part. I was always desiring confirmation but he was too familiar with me to be anyone else.

I haven't commented on the Ozzy situation. I did not appreciate Ozzy's contributions here. I viewed it as enabling and encouraging the hateful trolling, especially in regards to Rob Singer. I wanted the forum to head in a different direction, away from the nothing-but trolling.

That said I am not going to post some nasty comment ala Rob Singer or Mdawg. I hope Ozzy is alive and well and just decided enough with all this trolling crap. If that is not the case, may he rest in peace.

I am going to say no to that, IMO. Most people won't/don't consider something like that. the only person I can recall that did that was Alan with the AndrewG account. I think Alan realized that much like you and I, he had become a target of the trolls. Almost as soon as he posted anything at all, he was likely to be trolled. I think he really did want a fresh start with the AndrewG account.

But then he commented on and opined on the very same subjects that Alan was involved with. And then bizarrely he linked the AndrewG account to himself by claiming AndrewG worked in the office of Alan's lawyer or something like that. By that time it was just bizarre. But then again, maybe that is what he wanted all along. Who Knows. But again, I just don't see Ozzy doing something like that.

I will say this about Alan. I miss him on these forums. While he too had some troll in him, I don't think he really meant to harm anyone, even through his 3am jaunt to the strip and months/years of trying to prove me wrong with the tracking of 2 tables. I think Alan was simply the grandfatherly type (at least when I came to know him on the forum) lifelong gambler with a love of gambling. I wish I had been a little nicer to him and gotten to know him a little better, maybe even met him for a couple coffee or a meal and gotten to hear some more of his gambling war stories. But, he also made it hard to like him at times.

I am going to say no to that, IMO. Most people won't/don't consider something like that. the only person I can recall that did that was Alan with the AndrewG account. I think Alan realized that much like you and I, he had become a target of the trolls. Almost as soon as he posted anything at all, he was likely to be trolled. I think he really did want a fresh start with the AndrewG account.

But then he commented on and opined on the very same subjects that Alan was involved with. And then bizarrely he linked the AndrewG account to himself by claiming AndrewG worked in the office of Alan's lawyer or something like that. By that time it was just bizarre. But then again, maybe that is what he wanted all along. Who Knows. But again, I just don't see Ozzy doing something like that.

I will say this about Alan. I miss him on these forums. While he too had some troll in him, I don't think he really meant to harm anyone, even through his 3am jaunt to the strip and months/years of trying to prove me wrong with the tracking of 2 tables. I think Alan was simply the grandfatherly type (at least when I came to know him on the forum) lifelong gambler with a love of gambling. I wish I had been a little nicer to him and gotten to know him a little better, maybe even met him for a couple coffee or a meal and gotten to hear some more of his gambling war stories. But, he also made it hard to like him at times.

Alan drove me crazy with his constant stubbornness to see things that were right in front of him. Or he just argued them for amusement, such as his constant failure to understand the value of Free Play. I’d go back and forth on if he truly didn’t understand it or was just being a dick.

In any case it’s an unjust world where he was taken too early and EvenBob still survives. I’m sure some feel the same about you, me or most any other poster over the years on these forums. That’s just the way these places go.

Not for any particular reason, but I was thinking to post something about how "Well, he must be dead" just today - but Boz had the same thing on his mind and already posted.

I was also wondering lately where Ozzy went.

He posts on my PFA forum under a different name, but I haven't seen that one post in awhile, either.

Hopefully he's okay. I've seen people leave my PFA forum for years, seemingly abruptly, where I assume they're dead. Then they reappear like nothing happened.

But in some cases, yeah, they're dead.

Yeah, sometimes people die and that’s always a drag.

Hopefully not the case here but it does happen. However many other reasons they disappear from forums.

Jail, hospitalization, busy, tired of forums or being online, temporarily or permanently in a location without internet access, & also apparently if they have unpaid loans to other members of the forum. (Not saying he does, but just learned recently this can also be another reason someone disappears)

Must assume Ozzy is dead because otherwise he would not have missed all these opportunities to lay into UNKewlJ for the neverending whoppers she has been caught up in lately.

Hopefully Ozzy just decided to stop posting on VCT and Poker Fraud Alert and isn't dead. :/ On the old IMDB Messageboards, a Transgendered Poster , Texas Tranny, implied they would be committing suicide, saying something like,"I have one bullet and a gun pointed to my head. Which one should I name the bullet? Always Better or Shark Of The Sharks? Both Posters harassed him for being a Transgendered Poster.
