I bet a two Longshot parlay in Sports and they BOTH won. :) I won $168 on a $1 bet. :) A two Longshot parlay bet in Sports is a RISKY bet, but it paid off for me. :)
What about you? :) What risky gambling bets have you made that paid off? :)

What an idiot.
My Tasha sympathy is starting to dwindle.
So, I WON $168 playing a TWO bet LONGSHOT PARLAY and I get CRITICIZED? WHAT THE FUCK? :(
Karen, most of us (not counting you, obviously) are pretty savvy when it comes to the basics of gambling, and realize how parlays such as the one you bet are negative EV.
So you got lucky...big fucking deal: luck happens, even to mongoloid floor shitters with hideous handbags.
What was your point in posting, anyway: hoping to impress "your boyfriend?"
Or maybe you hope to impress lurking "casino friends" in the hope that they'll e-mail you requesting crotch pics...ka-ching.
But hey, you're funny...keep it coming, I always need new material for the "Gamblin' Gal KAREN" thread.
Was this you Tasha? Shitting in public and dropping off Mammie’s needles?

“ The investigation began in November, when a resident found needles and feces on the cul-de-sac. Police looked into the situation and determined the feces was human, and also found toilet paper in the area.
More feces were found in the road Nov. 16, and a motion-activated camera was placed in the area to help identify the suspect.”

Post #66 and so on. That post does not show all the tickets, bit it gives a pretty good sampling.
LOL. That would be me and Bob Hurst, former president of Golden Eagle Distributing in Sacramento. You can check with his son as to the veritas of the story. As I said, not all tickets are in view. Hurst was an interesting guy -- he knew many "connected" scenarios in advance of civilians. For example, he knew when the great bust and seizure of the Millennium Sports/WagerMall/and all affiliates was in progress the day it happened...because he knew the people in Costa Rica who had leased them the buildings. That little incident (cost me 11K, and I'm ultra-careful) was partially covered by CNN and so on the day after the hijacking of the Millennium owner and his laptops. The owner had the audacity to go on CNN a few days before and announce that he wanted to pay taxes like any good businessman. Well, the feds, and a St. Louis judge cheerleading for CET, cut that "paying taxes" short when he landed in Dallas for a change of planes
Good try, though, Axel, considering this thread was supposed to be about longshot tickets that cashed. You hijack stuff better than the feds. I'm sure you have many similar tickets, right? I mean, it doesn't take an advanced degree in "APing" to recognize when odds are wrong on a 3-0 team. LOL.
This was actually not a Dietz-centric bit of brilliance, as I reported ad nauseum previously. Many people nailed the Rams. Bookmakers got fired (Strat, for one) because of their greed, basically. And their lack of eyeballs. Those of us with sports eyeballs (some APs have them; most do not) and a few working neurons used the football axiom "you can't disguise speed" to make our Rams play. What made mine different was that I had previously decided the Titans were the SB longshot I wanted, based on their triumvirate of offensive players who resembled the old Aikman/Smith/Irvin triple play. So I already had the Titans to win the AFC and SB, then I took the Rams, and well, the twain met, so to speak. Saved me from SB hedging -- I actually made money hedging versus these teams that year.
I'm sure Axel has many similar stories and copies of tickets to share, his being an LV-based "AP" and all.
The guy's name was Bob Hurst, by the way, and I have a nice story about him buying me lunch at Caesars' Palace. Before posting that story, however, I'll give Axel time to post his tickets.
And MDawg, feel free to copy and paste this.
Mdawg is a person with some money (not nearly what he wants people to think) that likes to gamble, loses more than he wins, can afford to gamble and lose and gets comped for it. Nothing more! Just a degenerate gambler that loses and gets comped and likes to make up stories about winning, like a lot of losing degenerate gamblers do. And EVERYONE knows it.
So you continuing to cozy up to people like Dawg and Singer, tells anybody that might not have known anything about Bob Dietz, all they need to know. You just aren't doing yourself any favors by tying yourself to people like this. You might as well be buddying up to Tasha, for all that's worth.
And while I am at it, all the name dropping that you do, often people from decades ago that are dead, often people in the academic world, that no one knows or has nothing to do with gambling or if they did, it was last century, all that name dropping isn't helping your cause either. Just makes you look more desperate.
That would be me...desperate and confused. Did I go to college for a year, for two years, did I get a degree, did I never go? Was I broke, did my uncle pay for Villanova at 65K a year, did I get a scholarship, did I allow my uncle to sink 65K into my education and then quit because I felt badly that he was spending too much? The options are numerous and unfortunately all documented here, all by the same idiot scribe(s). I find it hard to believe one person would fuck up their own alleged story so badly.
What must it say about someone who cozies up to a kewlJ? I mean, Jesus, whatever long-shot blather Singer and MDawg post, at least they have their stories straight. If you can't be consistent reporting your own life, why should anybody take anything you post as other than complete fiction?
And MDawg, you can quote me on this. LOL.
At least other people keep their bullshit the same color. The kewlJ(s) have no idea what they wrote months ago or yesterday. Their whole self-presentation is inconsistent and ridiculous.
At least MDawg and Singer require debunking. The KewlJ(s) debunk themselves. There is something bizarre about a poster who persistently debunks himself and then acts as if people should believe him. It's gotta be some kind of joke.
The point at which it became obvious that UNKewlJ is a male prostitute masquerading on forums as something else passed long ago.
REDietz you posted a while back that the Male Whore explanation was not so nutso but given the contradictions, outright lies, lack of any entries in any blackjack databases and that to this day still no one has observed the UNKewl one engaged in anything other than prostitution related activities makes it the only plausible explanation.
UNKewlJ has been inconsistent in most everything - other than in denying the one thing that he in fact is.
What is this nonsense about you continuing to mis-represent the facts when you know the truth. No uncle. No 65K a year. The only "uncle" involved in my going to college was "Uncle Sam" as I got a scholarship because my father passed away while on the job working as a federal employee. But that scholarship covered most of my college cost. I was on the hook for about 10 grand, which my Grandfather wanted to pay. Am I missing something? Is it some sort of Hillbilly Humor to say "uncle" instead of "grandfather". It is lost on me.
Now your college "story" makes a lot of sense. You went to Penn State, where you majored in journalism and English lit type shit. And then according to your "story" that I read just the other day, a year after graduating, you put that degree to work by becoming a professional gambler, or sports bettor (again, according to your story). That makes a lot of sense. Maybe that English major helped you write a better "tout" advertisement for the clients you needed money from??
Anyway, continue on with whatever it is you are doing on this forum with 8 people. I am just saying, you really aren't helping your cause by buddying up to two of the biggest trolls and gambling story-tellers on gambling forums. Maybe you can buddy up to EvenBob and some of the system players at GF as well. :D Maybe you can buddy up to Druff's obsession, Christopher Mitchell or the micki Maze guy or the blackjack Army guy, who last I heard was in prison.
As if this life-long LOSING degenerate gambler would know anything about any of the databases. If he can even name one of the databases, it is only because I have named several. Not a chance in hell this retard would have access to any or know how to gain access to any of them.
BUT, as a life-time losing player, just the kind of player the casinos want, he is probably on some list of gambling degenerates the casinos crave and circulate. :D The great "Dope of Las Vegas". Or is that "Dupe".
Classic KewlJ(s). Villanova currently costs (including room and board) 65K a year. Look it up. Average college degree these days is a five-year project. Look it up.
KewlJ(s) has changed his/their story regarding his/their college adventure dramatically and many times.
KewlJ(s) provide no details regarding Las Vegas or gambling in the city. Their/his posting is all generic, vanilla generalities -- no details, no verifiable facts, no verifiable people. I mean, Jesus, the KewlJ(s) have 12,000 posts on this God-forsaken forum and no details. All because he's the I-Spy of blackjack play on the LV strip. Munchkin retired from blackjack in Las Vegas, but the KewlJ goes strong because he's a veritable chameleon. He ducks, he dodges, he weaves -- he doesn't show up on video because he's a master of disguise. He knows what every room tolerates.
Now if only he could keep his stories semi-straight (see what I did there?). I guess it's a gay thing -- if you keep your stories straight, it affects your sex life if you're gay.
Meanwhile, the hound plots and schemes his latest outrage against his most formidable adversary, the legendary kewlj.
From deep within the bowels of his seven figure LV mansion he calls in favors from back home: soon the LV strip will thunder with the sound of hundreds of rabid, foaming camels, their swarthy, filthy drivers screaming "death to the infidel," summarily beheading any and all gay card counters which the hound has cleverly lured into honey traps.
Be afraid, be very afraid.
I don't read many of his posts anymore. there is not even entertainment value. He obviously has some gambling knowledge, but it is mostly that of a losing "degen" type player. Systems and progessive wagering and all that shit. And now he claims he does all that online and wins. :D
EvenBob or spike as you call him, did have a basic understanding of card counting because I spoke to him about it a couple times. But a "basic understanding" is NOT enough to win long-term especially with no understanding of money management and RoR type stuff. What is the old saying "knowing just enough to lose" :D
Funniest story your EvenBob/Spike told me was years ago, probably decades (many) ago that he was a cab driver and used to pull up to a casino and leave his cab running while he went inside to gambler. I mean that could have been shades of Richard Dryfusss or the other cab driver "Looney' from the movie Let it Ride, if they incorporated a casino scene into the movie. Very typical degenerate gambler thing to do. Hello Evenbob/Spike.
He is harmless though.
Yes he can regale anyone foolish enough to listen for hours with his tales of cab driving, bar tending and antagonizing his detractors into getting suspended at WoV.
A true man of the people, Spike; gotta wonder though why he changed his handle from Spike to Ever The Boob?
He was a laughingstock at GG; some things never change.
What?????
Why is he harmless when you feel MDawg is potentially harmful to others? Both spew mathematically impossible claims without details.
Both push to get others suspended for calling them out on it or questioning it. To me there is little difference between the 2 when it comes to trolling and gambling claims.
If one is “harmless” than the other is as well, at least in the regards to gambling claims.
I suggest YOU look it up. 25 years ago, tuition was less than half what you are posting. Duffus!
This post by you again demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of what it is to be a card counter/ table game AP in Vegas. Right up there with your not understanding APs need for anonymity.
I have shared more about what I do and have done for 15 years in Vegas than any other AP in the history of forums. But I also know enough not to share certain things.
And for what reason anyway? I shared in great detail, a technique that I and a number of real card counters/AP employed, tracking a second table while playing a primary, a version of the spotter/call in approach, with he player playing both roles. This technique can almost double the normal EV per period of time, when conditions were right that you could employ it.
You know what I got for that? Some of the goofiest shit in the world, x-ray vision comments, a guy running to the casino who took blurry pictures on a cell phone. All kinds of nonsense from people that don't even play blackjack, let alone have even a clue of any kind of AP techniques. So why would I share anything else like that?
So you want me or any real AP to give blow by blow descriptions of play, that in most cases could be identifying to the very group of people (casinos) that we fight a war to be able to play with on a daily basis?
Please!! For a guy who knows so little, you sure do talk a lot, Red.
Yeah, yeah, the anonymous dude who never describes a restaurant or a show or what the color of the billboard is across the street. And who can keep playing when Hall of Famers retire. Makes perfect sense.
The reality of the kewlj(s) is obvious as hell to anyone who reads this tripe. And now he's a bonus-pluckin', sports-gamblin' whiz on top of his blackjack whiz-kid-edness.
It all makes sense...if you're pumped full of ether and bourbon.
And once again, a thread hijacked by The Boy Wonder and the Wolf, creme de la creme experts.
And MDawg, please quote me on this.
Oh and as for Munchkin, there are a whole lot of players like him, not necessity as smart or good as him, but a whole bunch of players that began APing by counting cards, 20, 30 years ago or even longer, including a number that I still network with. And MOST, like 99% have moved on from card counting. The reason isn't because it can't be done anymore. The reason is because there are better opportunities with bigger advantages. Plus they get tired of the war we have to play.
So don't give me that shit I am doing something other APs can't. I am doing something other APs no longer want to do, because they have different and better opportunities. But I have always liked what I do, so I have continued to do it. And come up with new ways to be able to continue to be able to do it. There is nothing magical about it. Just some hard work and learning what you can and can't do and still be welcome to play. Pretty simple really.
And this is what Red's bug up his ass is REALLY all about. That I and some other advantage players, that would be players that find and do something at an advantage (for those of you that went to a public state school). And that advantage doesn't involve any kind of "sports gambling wizardry".
Since I began playing the bonus game, 18 months ago, I am hitting just a hair below 51%. It takes about 53% to be profitable from sports betting wizardry. My advantage comes strictly from the bonuses. And that will last until it doesn't. Then I will move to something else with an advantage or just continue with my primary activity, card counting.
So just stop with your nonsense.
That Red is so freaking insecure about sports betting, and gets infuriated that anyone else could possibly make a buck doing something in the sports betting arena, to the point that he has made a complete fool of himself, really tells all you need to know about this Hillbilly.
Either that or I've been debunking bullshit gambling stories for 45 years and Kewl(s) stories are so inconsistent, self-contradicting, and egregious that I can't stand them anymore. Start a poll. Take a vote. One or the other.
There is something mentally wrong with these Kewlj(s). They keep spouting these detail-less, generic bullshit narratives, and they expect people to believe them? Todd should just ban their ass(es) on principle.
Mickey, I don't know how to put this to you gently, but you have zero idea what you're talking about.
Go look up something called GamePlan magazine and when they began publishing. I was using GamePlan's power ratings when I was 13 and kept notebooks comparing their ratings, which had to be adjusted every week by me for all teams, to the UPI selections, the AP selections, a local sportswriter's selections, and my selections. I advertised in GamePlan when I was 21 years old, a full-page ad which I designed and laid out, no less.
I still have one of those notebooks from when I was 13.
I think I probably have a few decades on you regarding the use and keeping of "power ratings." So I have no idea what you are blathering on about. I was criticized when I was 20 for relying too much on math and "power ratings." Now I'm criticized for relying too little on math and "power ratings." LOL. I'm doing the same stuff.
Do you know how idiotic it is, utilizing pure computer ratings, to try to lump a sport like college football, with disparate scheduling, weather, and a 12-game schedule, in with a sport like college basketball, with a huge interconnected scheduling matrix, no weather but different visual environments, and a 35-game "season?"
You are out of your depth when you address these things. I am being kind.
You do realize the "computer-derived" phrase you use means absolutely nothing. Go ahead, explain how "computer-derived" means something. Is it different from "hand-held calculator derived?" or "abacus-derived?" Or "Sheldon Cooper at a chalkboard-derived?" Do you mean "partially derived," "minimally derived," "completely derived" or what? Learn some precision, for God's sake.
Wake up, man. You must realize you have no blessed idea what you're really talking about.
[Yes, but] REDietz is somebody. UNKewlJ is less than nobody, she’s nothing.
Mickey's going to be horribly confused. Have I worked with power ratings? Sure. Do I actually use them to wager on college football? No, power ratings are of very limited value in a sport with disparate scheduling, a total of 12 games, weather conditions, and when the goal of some games is to show as little of who you really are as possible. To quote Losing My Religion, "Oh no, I've said too much. I haven't said enough."
Now, please don't ask me if I use trends. LOL. I do, but not in the way you might think. I'm not a trendsvestite.
And of course I can't speak for The Riddler.
So did the riddler get rid of E R Ditz or did E R Ditz have a published bad run and retire?
If you find any published bad runs by ER or The Riddler, you should probably copy and paste them here.
Of course -- and here is The Bard's rub, if you DON'T find any published bad runs by either, you should adopt your own set of principles and post that YOU HAVE NEVER FOUND BAD RUNS BY EITHER. If you have looked for bad runs by The Riddler, and found none, for example, the honest, legitimate way to address the issue is to REPORT that you found no bad play.
Because, drum roll, if you do not do that, YOU ARE GUILTY OF DOING WHAT YOU ARE CRITICIZING. You are selectively reporting and staying silent if you have nothing bad to report. If you have searched for bad Riddler outcomes, and found none, then it behooves an honest reporter to say exactly that. Otherwise, you are guilty of not practicing what you expect from others. You have become the ultimate dishonest hypocrite.
Now, if your response is that, "Gee, I only searched for five minutes so my finding nothing bad doesn't count," well, what does that say about how you usually search all topics?
Be a hypocrite or don't be. That is the question.
I did make Who's Who in Sports Gambling Nobodies back in 1984, however, at the tender age of 27. I must admit, however, that when I had the best or second best ATS record after 20+ years in The Wise Guys Plus Random Nobodies Contest, they gave me one of Stan Lee's famous No-Prizes for being the Nobody with the best record (comic book aficionados will know whereof I speak).
In fact, I've accumulated many No-Prizes in my day. When Billy Walters asked Playbook who he should hire, they said "Nobody." And my phone rang the next day.
Ah, if only I lived in Montana, where being Nobody means something. I hear they carve your ass on a mountain and stuff.
I had an uncle who developed Altheimer's/dementia at an early age, I guess around 50 years old. He was in the veteran's hospital in Coatesville and later moved to a nursing facility, when I lived in Philly area. My Grandmother handled his financial needs, making sure SS and veterans benefits were paid to the hospital. Really that stuff was on auto pilot but there had to be a family member as more or less a contact person. So as my grandmother got older, she really could no longer be that person. So she asked me to be.
I didn't know my uncle well, but since I was the person, I visited him several times (in the nursing facility by this time). Everything he said, was about things that happened in his life 40 years prior, when he was in his teens and early 20's. I don't think he even knew what year it was or who was president, but he knew and told you about shit from 40 or 50 years ago like it was relevant.
I see that same thing in Redietz. I think this guy thinks it is 1984. Or that what he did in 1984, matters to anyone.
Not what YOU think it tells you.
My family didn't kick me out. One man, the man my mother re-married kicked me out. And fast foward 20+ years and both the other people in that family, my family, moved across country to live with or near me and be a part of my life. While that one man, lived alone with no family and eventually died alone with no family by his side or in his life, not even his own biological son.
NOW, what does THAT tell you?
Didn't pull out
Mickey, don't sugarcoat it. Tell me how you really feel.
You know, we'd make a great team on Munchkin's show. You and me, baby, sharing an hour of no hold barred hijinks.
See if you can put that together for us, will you?
I hope you do actual programming, just so you can detail your wizardry. I know, I know, my significant other programs a bit, and the dude at the table with me in the Retro thread programs a lot, but I figure you have them beat by a mile. They are brother and sister, by the way (I hope the same last name didn't give them away).
Anyway, you keep grinding, mickey. Write that code! Tote that water (I'd say tote that bourbon, but my understanding is you're off the good stuff).
And it should be, "Your moronic spiel DOESN'T fool anyone around here." No charge for the English lesson.
Keep grindin', buddy!
Let me know if you have words of wisdom for The Riddler. He left the building. Undefeated, last I checked, in terms of his recommendations making money each time. How the hell does he do that, anyway? He probably programs when nobody is looking. Wait, I'm Nobody. So I need to correct that. He probably programs when Nobody ISN'T looking.
Much better.
Mickey, don't sugarcoat it. Tell me how you really feel. You know, we'd make a great team on Munchkin's show. You and me, baby, sharing an hour of no hold barred hijinks. See if you can put that together for us, will you?
IT'S YOUR TURN TO SEE IF YOU CAN PUT A PODCAST TOGETHER. I RECOMMENDED YOU TO MUNCHKIN FOR GWAE. YOU WERE IN QUICK CONTACT WITH HIM. YOU LED US ON FOR MONTHS SAYING YOU WERE GOING TO DO THE PODCAST. THEN MUNCHKIN TOLD ME YOU TURNED HIM DOWN AT THE START. YOU LIED TO US FOR MONTHS ABOUT IT UNTIL I CONTACTED MUNCHKIN AND FOUND OUT THE TRUTH.
THEN I CONTACTED MUNCHKIN ABOUT YOU DOING LIFE IS A GAMBLE. YOU PULLED THE SAME SHIT. SO TWO STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT!
THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT, DITZ. YOU WANT TO DO A PODCAST THEN ARRANGE IT YOURSELF. BUT IF I'M ON THE PODCAST TOO I WON'T BE ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS. I'LL BE ASKING QUESTIONS. I WON'T EVEN ANSWER IF YOU ASK ME HOW THE WEATHER IS. THE SPOTLIGHT WILL BE ON YOU AND YOU ALONE. SO PUT IT TOGETHER, SPORTSQUACK. I WON'T HOLD MY BREATH.
YOUR FRIENDS MAY PROGRAM BUT YOU DON'T. MY SURGEON HAS PERFORMED 3 SURGERIES ON ME. I KNOW HIM PRETTY GOOD NOW. HEY, THAT MEANS I CAN PERFORM SURGERY, RIGHT, DITZ? YOU ARE FUCKING DENSE. GET A CLUE.
Anyway, you keep grinding, mickey. Write that code! Tote that water (I'd say tote that bourbon, but my understanding is you're off the good stuff).
I QUIT GRINDING WHEN THE VIDEO POKER PLAYS DRIED UP 20 YEARS AGO. ADVANTAGE SLOTS IS NOT A GRIND. ADVANTAGE SLOTS ARE EASY PEASY. IT'S LIKE A LIFELONG VACATION.
And it should be, "Your moronic spiel DOESN'T fool anyone around here." No charge for the English lesson.
YOU ARE CORRECT. YOUR MORONIC SPIEL DOESN'T FOOL ANYONE AROUND HERE.
Keep grindin', buddy!
LIKE I SAID. HAVEN'T GRINDED IN 20 YEARS.
THE PROBLEM WITH THE RIDDLER IS HE IS A FIGMENT OF YOUR DIMWITTED IMAGINATION, WALTER MITTY DIETZ. I DON'T DEAL IN FANTASY.

Mickey, it wasn't me winning all those times. It was The Riddler. Surely you can take solace in being upstaged by a supervillain as opposed to me.
And you're kind of missing the point. Since you read Mr. Walters' book so carefully, let me know on what pages he says he did any programming himself. I'll wait.
See, if Mr. Walters didn't do any programming himself, but he won using computers, as you say, then why is there something wrong with me using programs but not doing the programming?
You want to go on a podcast and not answer questions? Well, I don't blame you. If I were you, on a podcast with me, I wouldn't want to answer questions, either. I give you credit.

You're a clown if you think I'd research any record of yours.
I offered you a bet for a small amount of 1k and you refused with some bullshit.
I'm not putting up any record of mine so how can I be guilty of what I am criticizing? I've made 0 claims about my sports betting prowess.
Look - if you're anywhere near the hotshot you want people to think then why not just put your picks up where people can see them and score them. That kinda the normal thing to do. Instead you hop around these multi-personality disordered dipshit.
For a guy who rants about how no one shows any proof of anything and blah blah it makes even less sense you obscure your picks in layers of gibberish.
Like .. you expect people to "research" you.
So in fairness I will say this - Gee, I only searched for 0 minutes so my finding nothing bad doesn't count. Thats what I'm hearing you wanting me to say. So goofy.
Your using these multiple identities still doesn't make sense but the fact you are looking for investors after having been in that game for 40 years pretty much tells us what we need to know.
gl
The programming Walters did back then was retarded. He just used it to simplify things. Anything you could readily do in a spreadsheet today.
Funny you 2 talking about programming as if it is some magic thing. The world is full of 100 IQ programmers these days and back then all they were doing was tallying up stats they read out of a paper or possibly stuff someone called in. It really is not something you 2 should 1 up each other over. They weren't writing complicated things. Just automation of basic calculation but then of course I could be totally off base but doubtful.
my claim to fame - 70s
I played basketball for a small college - partial scholarship - I was very, very good for a h.s. player - 18 p.p.g. my junior year - but I wasn't great - in college I did okay against some very tough competition
my school, 2400 students, believe it or not played Pitt - 20,000 students - I don't know about now but back then this was pretty common - I guess Pitt saw it as scrimmage
Pitt only beat us by 13
anyway - I had a 3 point play on Billy Knight who was an All American and later an NBA & ABA All Star
the funny thing is - he didn't foul me - just came close - but the ref called it
Billy Knight was so great that the Pitt Panthers retired his no. 34 jersey when he graduated

SEEK PSYCHIATRIC HELP FOR YOUR RIDDLER FANTASIES.
And you're kind of missing the point. Since you read Mr. Walters' book so carefully, let me know on what pages he says he did any programming himself. I'll wait.
WHILE WRITING ABOUT MICHAEL KENT, WALTERS SAID HE BECAME PART OF THE GROUP AS THE MONEY MOVER. WALTERS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE LOGISTICS GUY, NOT THE HANDICAPPER. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A HANDICAPPER TO USE COMPUTER NUMBERS. BUT I KNEW THAT YEARS BEFORE FROM KONIK'S BOOK ON WALTERS PUBLISHED IN 2006. THE "GOTCHA" BULLSHIT AIN'T WORKING FOR YOU, DITZ. DID YOU READ KONIK'S BOOK?
See, if Mr. Walters didn't do any programming himself, but he won using computers, as you say, then why is there something wrong with me using programs but not doing the programming?
THERE WOULD BE NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU USING THE COMPUTER MODELS OF OTHERS. IT'S WHAT MUNCHKIN IS NOW DOING. BUT YOUR WHOLE SCHTICK IS YOUR PICKS ARE JUST OPINIONS. ARE YOU NOW SAYING YOU USE COMPUTER MODELS TO MAKE YOUR PICKS? YOU'VE DONE AN AWFUL LOT OF BASHING OF IT TO NOW MAKE THAT CLAIM.
You want to go on a podcast and not answer questions? Well, I don't blame you. If I were you, on a podcast with me, I wouldn't want to answer questions, either. I give you credit.
I'M NOT THE ONE CLAIMING TO BE A SPORTS GAMBLING EXPERT. YOU ARE THE ONE MAKING THAT CLAIM. ONLY THE SO CALLED "EXPERTS" SHOULD BE ANSWERING QUESTIONS. SO WE CAN COMPARE THEIR ANSWERS TO THE ANSWERS OF OTHER "EXPERTS."
THERE ARE A HOST OF NOTED SPORTS BETTORS FOUND ON THE INTERNET AND AT PUBLIC EVENTS. THEIR ANSWERS APPEAR TO BE SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT THAN YOURS. THEY EMBRACE COMPUTER MODELS. YOU DON'T. AND THEY ALSO DON'T INSULT THE PEOPLE ASKING QUESTIONS. THAT'S A CHARACTER FLAW YOU NEED TO WORK ON.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. Computer programming can work great for something like college basketball. Not so much for something like college football. And roughly 85% of my wagering is college football.
The two best years the Computer Group had (percentage-wise) were in college football (oh, did I mention something not in the book -- LOL -- why do you think Mr. Walters doesn't give you specific numbers in the book?), and they overlapped two of my best years. Now, I wasn't quite as swashbuckling as the Computer Group those years, but I was in the vicinity. And we had many of the same plays. So was what I was doing radically different from what they were doing? I guess it wasn't.
You're kind of missing reality here -- human heuristics and computer modeling aren't two completely different processes. The heuristics relies on statistics. The modeling relies on human definitions of statistics and what should be quantified how.
All of this is obvious and Handicapping 101 stuff. The way AI will blow by human heuristics is tricky to see but also pretty obvious. I, however, am not giving it away. Well, I'll give you another hint (I already gave you one, whether you realize it or not). Some of Elon Musk's tech will be a key. That was actually a pretty big hint, but hopefully nobody will figure it out.
I ain't, after all, The Riddler.
I don't program at all. I did, however, write a detailed response to this, but I erased it. One of the people who appears on this forum with me programs a lot, had some historical experience with a Chinese LV programming sports-betting team, and actually wrote a program for me that did some stuff from a mechanical perspective that gave me a betting edge.
But you know what? I'll save the stories for the podcast. Don't forget to call in.
Other than all that, you are spot on, account. LOL. What do you do, really? Play $20 parlay cards with your parents' money? No, no wait, let me guess. You count cards for $50 a hand.
Out of respect for mickey, I'll pass this along. That Chinese programming team bet college basketball. Sides and totals. As I said previously, it seems that college hoops lends itself to programming. My best guess is that it has to do with the large number of possessions in each game, the fact that each possession is time-limited, and the large number of games. Also the fact that, unlike the NBA, every game matters. Even incremental performance differences matter at the end of the year, so teams tend to not quit regardless of score most games. And also unlike the NBA, key personnel don't sit out games for no good reason.
But what do I know? I don't program. I just do things like this, which is what this thread was supposed to be about, until the anonymous pretend gamblers hijacked it:

redietz will save the stories for the podcast? ROTFLMAO!!!! In other words, he's never going to tell those stories because he will never show up for a podcast. He's long been exposed on the issue so he should quit embarrassing himself by pretending he's going to do a podcast.
I offered to put up $1k for a simple sports betting contest. You couldn't do it and requested other nonsense you knew I wouldn't go along with. I made it reasonable because it was a sincere and fun offer. The amount was low enough. But not for you ....
You've been doing the same thing for 40 years and still need investors to stay in action.
You had an outstanding tax on your house last time anyone checked.
lol redietz. go find another acquaintance to make vague references to in an attempt to try and impress someone out there that you are in fact not just a huge loser.
Red, do yourself a favor and don't talk about shit you don't have a clue about. Card counting involves a bet "spread", not an amount bet per hand. Even the most novice, only slightly informed player knows this.
You are already proving you know little about how many different players are winning involving sports betting in 2025. Who knows what you knew in 1984? Don't compound it by talking shit about another subject you have proven you know NOTHING about.
I made a three bet Longshot parlay and won. :) https://photos.app.goo.gl/cCfajijn9ApUguci7
