Mr. Crimm, I appreciate the fact that "APs" think they need to make things up and live in fantasy-land. Most of us stop doing that, for the most part, when we're five or six.
I deeply apologize for calling out people who invent personal histories and post them in public because it's in their best interests to do so, at least according to them. I can actually see how that helps them...reputationally, getting investors, getting laid, and so on. It probably helps them sleep at night, them being so expert at everything.
I'm a big Daredevil fan...I have the original run starting with Issue #10. His main adversaries during those halcyon days were Bullshitter, I mean Bullseye, who thought he always hit his target with everything, until he didn't, and The Owl, who thought he was wiser than everyone and that he could fly (he was actually gliding, but people believe what they want to believe). Rumor has it that he moved to Europe and bought a gambling web site.
God bless people like you, who claim to have conquered all gambling worlds with high school math. Maybe you have, with the exception of what I do. But I know you have no blessed idea how do what I do, and you have not even scratched the surface of knowing what you're doing...when it comes to what I do. There is a reason, sad to say, that Mr. Walters hired me and not you. There are reasons, unfortunate but true, why I have either the best or second best (depending on years framed), for people in The Wise Guys Contest for more than five years. That's two games a week, every football season, for more than 20 years.

Mickey evidently feels that being alone and expert is the way to go. Okay, that's swell. But if I make use of the skills and wisdom of those around me, like my better half (who's helmed a much bigger money cartel than me AND understands horse racing a la Roxborough), the Boeing VP (who writes programs and got a perfect math score on SATs) and the Mensa dude/college official who blessedly talked me out of serious investing in hoops longshots until brackets are revealed, that's not exactly me performing their tasks. It's blending everyone's abilities to reach optimal conclusions. And speaking of blending....
