Woke as fuck
While the scenery there is amazing, few, if any, here will appreciate it. Walking from their keyboards to the kitchen and the bathroom is what their "travel season" is all about.
What you fools will never see are the people tucked away in those scenes who got on with their lives instead of constantly away from themselves on roads to nowhere.
Not a coincidence that you never got away from the gambling bull garbage on here, either.
It appears another of AQ's sensitive spots has been activated....kinda like he (again!) felt my post about a bunch of do-nothing nobody's having been and continually going nowhere, was directed at Him. Well........:)
Yea that's exactly it, Robert. LOL
I just like reminding the audience who they're actually reading.
Rob, you enjoy traveling...bully for you, have at it.
But don't for a second think that you viewing fall colors makes you special or better than those who choose not to: I mean, really?
I've seen the fall colors in various parts of the US, New England, Colorado, Oregon...nice but not earth shakingly nice.
Having seen it all before why should I go out of my way to see it again?
If I want a fall fix there's always YouTube...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hb0ONtgQtdg&t=1s

I love this shot.
The main thing never to forget about nature, it's always trying to kill you in the most painful of ways no matter how inviting. Ha.

Quote:
Diseases from the wilderness can be transmitted through bites, scratches, contaminated water, or contact with animal feces and include illnesses like Lyme disease, West Nile virus, rabies, and tularemia. Others, like Giardia and Cryptosporidiosis, can be contracted from drinking unfiltered water, while Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) affects deer and other cervids.
V, I'm not sure you understood: I grew up in NE so Fall Foliage drives aren't something we do anymore.
I was simply mocking the lonely bunch of "why has life passed me by?!" folks here who, likely because of gambling but maybe because of being total go-nowhere/do-nothings period, they can never pull themselves away from their words-of-wisdom computer keyboard sanctuaries and direct-to-casino scurries to experience the beauty of the outdoors.
We didn't waste a moment this summer, as we made two very busy cross-country round trips prior to picking up our new puppy late next week. Sure there's nice scenery just about everywhere, but "been there/done that" as you would say.
Teslas....Lucids....EV's from everyone corner of the planet....I have no use for that nonsense. Waiting for electrosonic "charges" every 300-400 miles ain't my idea of an enjoyable, freedom-filled trip. But for the do-nothings....it's the cat's meow. :)
