We're starting our travel season in two weeks hopefully before the heat rolls in. So this post will be my sayonara, as sad as that will be to most of you. Yes Cousin Eddy will be off and running in his home made wooden pure white trash '60's camper again, after having saved up a few welfare checks for gas, food, and a pot to poop in. And Alan? Well, he's out mowing lawns for cash since he lost his entitlements on March 1st.
In the meantime, I want to address all the AP's who think they're SO SMART with their 3%...5%...and 10%+ "advantages" they claim to "grind out" for a profit. But they really REALLY have no idea. They have not a clue about what a REAL exploitable advantage is. They truly don't and as I said earlier, the joke's always been on them. They bill themselves as being the most cunning in the business, but I'm still laughing. They think they have the patent on advantages, yet I know they truly don't. And as I've been saying for years, the true secret to making very consistent profits off the video poker machines is a binding recipe of ability, intelligence, discipline, and most importantly in my particular case, a complete lack of greed.
There's a reason I abruptly quit almost weekly professional play in mid-2009, only it's not what you think. There's a reason I spread my play out among all the big casinos--and then some--from Wendover to Laughlin, only it's not why you think. There's a reason I only published the Bellagio "banned from playing vp" letter in my Gaming Today column and not the others, only it wasn't to pound my chest. There's a reason I very selectively & strategically used/didn't use my slot club cards starting in early 2004, only it wasn't because I didn't enjoy the free stuff. There is one very important aspect of what those cards record, and most times I had to keep away from it. There's a reason I purposely posted photos of some of my larger jackpots in GT, only right now you guys would never be able to figure it out. And there's a reason I made it a point to always steer clear of hosts, only it's not why you think.
Maybe if you were ever able to unlock what's been going on with me over the years, you guys would understand that in my own way, I'm much more the AP than any of you. You'd also get why I post so aggressively on forums when it comes to vp and why I'm nothing like that anywhere else. No, not even Alan knows....although if he doesn't figure it out I'll tell him someday.

After playing blackjack Moses/Tater head to the sportsbook. North Carolina is playing Duke in college basketball. Duke is favored by 3. Moses bets his usual $11 on North Carolina +3. The sportsbook guy asks if he wants anything else to which Tater replies yes Duke -3 for $11. :rolleyes:

This would also explain Moses claims of being a great sports handicapper. On a typical Saturday betting $11 per game, Moses goes 7-0, winning $70. But poor Tater goes 0-8 losing $88. :D
