Pala Casino in San Diego raises the stakes for weekly promotions
Pala Casino is raising the stakes for weekly promotions in the competitive San Diego area casino market. Only a few minutes from Pala is the giant Pechanga Casino as well as Harrah's Rincon -- the Caesars-operated casino, and Valley View and Pauma and several other smaller casinos.
Pala will have weekly drawings in May for a car plus $10,000 cash. Here is the press release from Pala:
Pala Casino Spa & Resort will give away a brand new, 2014 Toyota Camry SE Hybrid, sponsored by Toyota of Escondido, and $10,000 in cash on Friday, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, a total of $50,000 and five Camrys, in its Win A Car Every Friday promotion and all anyone has to do to win is sign up for a Pala Privileges player’s card, which is free, in the casino.
Players can then swipe their Privileges cards once every 24 hours at the Toyota Camry SE Hybrid Giveaway kiosks located adjacent to the vehicle display in the casino. A regular Privileges card holder will receive one free entry daily; Gold cards receive two; Platinum, three, and Elite, five. Entries can be earned daily until 4 p.m., Friday, May 30. All entries earned from 9 a.m., December 2, 2013, until 4 p.m., Friday, May 30, are eligible.
Players who use their Privileges card at any slot machine, table game or live poker game will receive 10 bonus entries into the Grand Prize Drawing for every tier point earned during the Giveaway.
The Grand Prize Drawing will start at 6 p.m. each Friday when $1,000 will be awarded. Every half hour thereafter until 10:30 p.m., $1,000 will be awarded, a total of $10,000. The Toyota Camry SE Hybrid winner will be drawn at 11 p.m. Winners must be present to claim prizes.
One 2014 Chevrolet Impala 2LT, sponsored by Quality Chevrolet of Escondido remains to be awarded on Friday, April 25. Adrian D.L.S. of Valley Center, CA, won the first Impala 2LT drawing on April 4 and Ling C. of Pomona, CA, won the second on April 11. Last Friday’s winner (April 18) requested to remain anonymous.
