Just Like Old Tymes

Yes....there's more than one way to skin a cat.

Yesterday I returned from a couple nights in the LV area. Not gonna say why I went, but it's one of the few times I've ever gone without expecting to "win" money.

I went to 17 casinos, including a PT's Gold that served an absolutely horrible 6am breakfast (I didn't make the trip to sleep and stayed up over 50 hours). The highlight of my visit was at the Silverton of all places, where I consider it poetic justice for several reasons, that I hit a $4000 royal on a $1 bet.

"So many hours of play" is what you're probably thinking---"he had to have lost his ass!" Well, not quite. I came home with a $3100 profit after all expenses were deducted. And that royal was the only winner better than a FH I had!

Looks like Reno/Tahoe better look at banning Singer this summer.

Edit: This might stump a few. A $4k royal on a $1 bet?? Well, it WAS and it WASN'T a dollar bet.

Rob, just in case you may have missed a post that I made that did involve you on another site while you were on vacation, you can see that I tried to inform you about it, "with info" in post #27 in a thread that is further down titled "Super Bowl Bets".

50 hours straight? 17 Casinos? Are you becoming a degenerate gambler Rob? Or maybe you've discovered another double-up like bug? Hanging out at 6:00 AM at a Vegas PT's...Sounds more like hitting bottom. Well, at least you won this time. Congratulations!

I wasn't trying to bully Rob. He basically asked us to read between the lines and that's what I surmised was the point he was trying to make.

I wouldn't be going to Nv. casinos if I didn't have a significant reason to. Degenerate? We stopped in Reno and Mesquite on our way back from an RV trip, and this was my first visit to LV in a very long time. But I now have a blueprint for what I'll do going forward, which is more research than anything else. You see, I'm not interested in sitting at a machine for more than 15 minutes any more unless there's more to it than that.

I'm requesting Dan for a permanent self-exclusion. AKA, I want to be terminated because I'll not return. There's really nothing more for me to teach anyone, and most of what goes on around here is nonsense anyway. I chose this point in time to get out because now that my foot's finally healed, on ridiculous "Black Friday" overnight we're getting into the RV and taking off for a 5-month cruise to Key West and back, and I have little interest in this forum taking up any of my time any longer.

I'm assuming the ban will be in effect immediately so I've already deleted this site from my favorites and I won't be looking back. You can pass the Kleenex as needed.
