It's Saturday night at 9:25pm. I spent the last hour watching a high speed chase on various freeways here in SoCal. So much for Carmageddon!! And earlier I had my choice of street parking spots in Westwood and didn't have to pay for off street parking. And the roads were wide open with no congestion on local streets. Good. I hope it's like that again for Sunday.
Will anyone question the $300,000 bonus for finishing the 405 project early when the work was actually completed 17 hours early? Was an incentive really needed so rush hour would not be impacted? Was the work time overestimated?
