I actually bet pretty much the same thing on every game.
I find that when you start rating plays and betting bigger on the "better" ones, you sometimes regret it. Nothing worse than having a +EV handicapping season based upon your picks, but losing because you bet unevenly.
Half Smoke mostly covered everything else. Edges in sports are hard to come by because of the house juice and the natural variance of sports contests. That's why when you see someone claiming to hit 70% of his picks, you know he's a scammer. Nobody does that long or even medium-term. It's just too damn hard to maintain.
I will be making NBA picks when that season gets going, though I will be watchful in the second half, when I slumped last year. In November and December, not only was I winning at a nice clip, but I was picking up tons of blowout wins, which is indicative that you're really on the right track.

hope I don't offend anybody by saying that fans of MMA are not geniuses to say the least and the betting lines there might be soft. they showed their ineptitude in betting so much on McGregor when he fought Mayweather.
anybody who looks into this might pick up a few easy wins.

Starting at 4:05pm PDT
Houston (Cole) at Baltimore (Hess) - Under 8.5 -120 (under 8 -105 ok)
-
Baltimore under going well... 1-1 in the 7th.
Let's add one more:
Oakland (Trivino) at Angels (Barria) - Under 9 -120
NOTE: Trivino is a reliever who will pitch 1-2 innings before giving way to other relievers.
-
BTW, to clarify, Trivino is starting, but there is a chance it will be turned over to Mike Fiers after 1-2 innings, which actually wouldn't be a bad thing. Mike Fiers was the original scheduled starter.
-
Texas (Sampson) at Seattle (Paxton) - Under 8 -120
-
Last minute, last-game MLB
Pittsburgh (Holmes) at Cincinnati (Romano) - Under 9.5 -115
