I am going to repost this video, posted on a blackjack site today. I am not vouching for the credibility of this guy and it seems like some of the specific incidents he mentioned are more than 10 years old. But it is worth a watch and worth remembering that Indian Casinos, cruise ship casinos, and casino in some other countries have zero or practically zero oversight, which can be a very dangerous thing for any player, AP or not.

While this there was no mention of ASM cheating that has been discussed in the last year or two, there is some tie in.
Throughout most of the video he talked about shoes with very high counts where the high cards never came out (presumably behind the cut card) . But towards the end he also talked about shoes where high cards came out right at the beginning. He called these walk-away shoes, which is exactly what a player should do. lol
But these two scenarios are also the result of clumping. A high card clump which can and does occur naturally, will result in both the scenarios. If the high card clump is cut after the cut card you will see a high count, where the high value cards never come out. BUT if the high card clump is cut into play, especially near the beginning, you will have all those 10 cards come out early (resulting in a lot of pushes) and then the remainder of the shoe strongly favors the house. Both scenarios strongly favor the house. So if you see these two things which do occur naturally, occurring at a rate that seems unnatural to you....Beware.
So like I said, this clumping can and does occur naturally. But I believe certain models of ASM have the ability, maybe slightly modified, to achieve this clumping, more than naturally. I recently saw mention that their is a ASM model that is only sold to Indian casinos, and jurisdictions outside the United States to avoid dealing with some of the legitimate casino commissions. Now I know, people will call me names and stuff, but the key is something I say earlier and people like Stealth said on another forum. And experienced player can just tell when something isn't right. Trust that.

P.S. we've played in those same casinos and never had nor seen a problem.

I read a post you claimed to have 12-14 five figure days per year HAHAHA. At your betting level, that's almost impossible for that to even happen one time. I used to bet 2x250(500) and i never had one trip where i lost 5 figures. The most I ever lost was 7500-8k which happened only twice, but let's just say had i continued playing it would've been a 5 figure loss, but 12-14 A YEAR? Give me a break dude. You mostly bet one hand of 400 or so, no way in hell does that happen 12-14 times a year. There's also no way in hell you play the amount of hours you claim to play by doing short sessions.

3.) The reason you don't experience more large winning and losing days is because you shut down after a relatively modest loss. In effect you have a stop limit built in because upon losing a few thousand you shut down for the day, for several days probably and take to the forums bitching about normal variance until you manage to sooth yourself into resuming the fight.
4.) and finally don't you dare talk shit about my late partner. Everything you said is a complete lie. I met my partner in Philadelphia. He moved to Vegas a year after I did and he most certainly did not bankroll me. He had no money. If anything my bankroll which I built from scratch, allowed him to earn a little money as an AP, once I was able to convince him to actually play with an advantage.
