With all the Black Lives Matter gobbly wobbly gook, and all the great things the black people have done especially in politics and civil rights how come there is no black presidential candidate?
And why aren't there more black politicians coming about as we speak?

Both mcap and tableplay are correct. I did a little research on Kamala Harris when she was chosen as Biden's running mate. Yes, she has a mother from India and a father from Jamaica. They both came to America, separately, as above average students. Please note that Harris was born in California. Thus, she is eligible to be the Vice President.
I am surprised that some news organization has not made an issue about the Willie Brown and Kamala Harris relationship. It was in the early to mid 90's and Brown was 60 years old and Harris was 30 years old. The relationship only lasted two years and Brown had been separated from his wife for a good ten years or so. The local newspapers reported on this at the time so there is no real dirt to the story. The again, for those of us not living in California, this is an interesting background story.
In keeping with the thread topic, the interesting question that inquiring minds want to know; if either Brown or Harris tried to extort money from the other due to their relationship, can the media use the term, blackmail? I am truly disappointed that Rob did not ask this first.
