Palazzo closes hotel

Palazzo has completely closed the hotel portion of the resort, due to low demand. Venetian's hotel remains open, and the Palazzo casino remains open (but will be closing some table games).

Other properties in Vegas have done partial closures this year.

Park MGM (former Monte Carlo), Mirage, and Mandalay Bay close their hotels from Monday afternoon through Thursday afternoon. However, their casinos remain open.

Encore is entirely closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

It is likely that Vegas will struggle this New Years, given the increasing severity of COVID-19 this month, along with the inability to have crowded parties or packed outdoor gatherings.
