August offers: will they be more generous?

I am starting to get mailers for August and I am wondering if they will be more generous? What I have received so far are almost double the amount of free play that I've received over the past few months. Now, "double" doesn't mean that much. In reality they have increased from about $40-50 per visit to $80 to $110 per visit-- that's at Rincon.

My play hasn't changed (in fact it's a bit lower over the past few months) but I am wondering if offers might be better for August since August is a slow month for casinos?

August is a big vacation month. I know that room prices in Vegas are very low in August (no conventions) and perhaps this also carries over to California casinos?

We have not received much yet, except some from New Orleans and they seem to about the same.

On another note, remember when I told about being short changed 5,000 tier points, after a great deal of trying to work it out, but deciding not to play the blame game with them? Well, I'm glad that I made that decision, as lo and behold, I get a call the other day from them asking if things had been resolved to my satisfaction. I went into great detail showing exactly what should have been but what turned out to be. The lady who called me listened patiently and agreed with my figures and told me that she would contact Vegas and have 5,000 tier points added to my account. The other day they showed up so all is well and good. I realize that there are those who will give some sinister reason for their actions, but I feel that they did the best they could to fix the problem and in the end they did just that. I wanted to update things so that people don't think that they intentionally cheated me out of points.

I'm glad that things worked out and you got the points you were entitled to.

I never thought you were intentionally cheated. Most CET fail is not intentional, but rather just a result of incompetence, technical error, or confusion.

Sadly, if you don't proactively push the matter and keep on them about fixing it, you will end up getting screwed.

I'm glad that they called you and fixed it. Personally I would have kept hassling them until they did it (while not playing the blame game), but good to see it worked out for you.

My U Choose offer from Rincon for August arrived today, and the daily amounts almost doubled from July.

My U Choose stayed the same and I still have to earn 50 tc before I can collect so I'm not going.

My weekly offers for August arrived: same as in July. So... some of the special daily offers are higher, U Choose is higher, but the weekly is the same.
