According to some of his posts about his record, it would appear that he wins far more compared to losing but how much of that is mental betting?
Redietz seems to be focused on Futures and Tournaments.
Strikes me as the type of bettor who hedges but I could be wrong about that assessment.
I'm pretty far out of my depth here anyway as I certainly cannot beat the book nor do I know much about how to.
My main issue with the book and poker, for that matter, is they don't give you anything for coin in.
I'm guessing that you can get some positive EV with online betting but I find it to be too much of headache.
I have the same issue with Dan Druff.
Is he actually betting money on all those picks and if so how much or how much is a unit?
At the end of a season these guys might be +5500 Units but how much cash does that translate to?
I would enjoy Dan Druff's thread about his NBA picks more if he would post his actual net profit or loss.
Course I don't really enjoy betting on hoops.
Nothing more fun or agonizing than betting on the NHL Puck Line.
I'm sure that betting the O/U has a higher return but not nearly as gut wrenching.

Thinking of putting 3900 to win 3000 on Tampa Bay - 1.5 -130 against the Red Wings.
It is possible that I can find a -120 or -125 line though.
Tampa Bay and the Red Wings both upended two of my 3 bets that put me in this hole.

The line moves to -135 shortly after.

I move up to 5 dollar and lose another 1500.
So I go and play 10 dollar VP which isn't Full Pay but with the Multiplier and Mailers it is Break Even.
Sound Familiar?

Anyways... I am down to my last 300 when I hit a 4k Jackpot.
I came into the Casino with just over 6600 dollars.
Now I have 4300.
I play some more and lose.
I am now in 4000 dollars on the Machine.
I end up hitting 4 Ducks for 10k with the machine at 10,900.
I also have 1700 in my pocket from the first hand pay.
I play a couple more hands and cash out 1300 because I am not supposed to be playing VP right now.
I'm supposed to be betting 900+ dollars in different sports books.
So I drive over to another Book that I know is usually dead.
Not this time...

It was a miracle on both games.
January 23 and I needed the Blues with the Jets on the Puck Line.
The Jets were down 3-2 going into the third and scored 4 goals to cover.
The Blues Game was the real miracle as they Covered with the Empty Netter with only 2 seconds left in the game.
I didn't post about it because I didn't post beforehand and I was busy.
After that miracle I went on a slide because I'm Stupid.
I had a couple grand on the Tampa Bay game when they had a 4-1 lead over Nashville.
Nashville went gangbusters in the last ten minutes and scored two goals to Screw Me.
Tampa had a last second chance but missed.
Puck Line is Fun.
Of course the next game they covered but I got off them because once again... I'm Stupid.
Anyways, after collecting my tickets today I decided to put in a Super Bowl Bet.
I don't endorse the bet whatsoever, I just like the Under more than the Over.
So I bet 660 to win 600 on the Under at 56 points.
IMO, The Defense usually comes to play in the Super Bowl.
The game could go well over but I like my chances.
Either way it really doesn't matter as I bet like a Nancy once again.
I like a couple hockey games today but I'm too tired now to make a run at the book.
It isn't going anywhere so it really doesn't matter.
I can lose tomorrow or the next day.

I'm pretty small time with most bets being in the 25 to 50 range. When feeling frisky I'll bump to 100. Have gone as high as 500. Like you said, the action.
Yesterdays TBL to win in regulation knocked the juice down to -255 coupled with the Bruins at -135 made the parlay +144. I am cognizant of the juice, but I didn't think it was horrible. WTF do I know I just like the action.
I will follow Dan, but admittedly I hate betting NBA unders. I know that's where a lot of pros live due to ploppies loving the over. In general the NBA is TOUGH! It's not the same as years ago when players played every night. Now with the needed rest, and calf contusions, and hangnails one has to wait for the latest info to try to stay ahead but alas it's already in the line.
I love football and now hockey much more. Baseball is also my thing, as I used to play in college a million years ago gives me a chance to feel like I can pick winners. Also, I didn't use to know shit or care about soccer, thought it was boring as hell. But now that I have the opportunity to bet on it I kinda love it. Have a great appreciation of it now. Especially EPL and other Euro trash countries. Hell, I'll even bet Turkish 3rd division games if it feels right. Action.

It is known as betting the 3 way line. Without OT there are three possible outcomes, either side and the draw. As I look at today's menu of options for the TBL game shows money line of -365 (ouch) but if I bet on Lightning to win in regulation it knocks juice down to -270.
