New IGT Game King machines at Caesars Palace

Caesars has started to install new IGT Game King video poker machines. The first time I saw them... a few weeks ago... I thought the design was awkward so I didn't even sit down at them. They lack a "slant top."

But I played one earlier today.

It was awkward playing, but it was the only 8/5 Bonus Game at Caesars. I chatted with other players who had the same thoughts I had about the machine set up being awkward and not as comfortable as traditional slant tops.

Later I was told Pechanga had similar machines, but I haven't seen them there. Has anyone else seen this design and what are your thoughts?

Do you prefer slant tops as I do?

Had same experience here in Chicago--thought it was just me. Very awkward and uncomfortable and won't be playing them

They actually slow down play due to the awkward configuration. But they did make them progressive here for DDB on all the bonus hands and royal

I played that same style of machine @Harrahs in LV the first week of October. It will take some getting used to.
