TOP 10 ALBUMS
the neil diamond thread got me thinking about my top 10 albums, most of the music will be from my early years as it usually is for most....but lets hear it......but then again..."really dont mind if you sit this one out". Please avoid compilation albums.....

Yeah, T-rex.....I liked their sound...and I can picture that album cover vividly..., and they would get the screaming girls beatles type treatment. Came and went so fast. I guess death will do that to ya. Tommy was pretty big and early Joe Jackson....both barely missed the cut.

I'd add a Dead album to the mix, probably their 2 LP live album.
Also "Live at Leeds" - The Who

When you look at both of the lists you notice a real cross section and diversity of sound. Some rather unique
ELP vs Beatles vs Bowie....
My parents and their contemporaries would say my music all sounded the same.
And you know...I am tempted to say the same about todays music.......But I catch myself because myparents were wrong. And I may not be knowledgeable enough to have cred. I think if I went beyond the current top acts which do sound the same to me....there might be diverse interesting sounds on the second and third tier that I am not exposed to.
Some on my list are second and third tier as far as general popularity
