If you missed that one, here are three more NBA picks for you, with some time left to bet:
Philadelphia vs Utah - Under 218.5
Golden State at Sacramento - Over 237
Brooklyn -4.5 at Lakers
Note that Lebron is highly likely to miss tonight with his groin injury. In this battle of two dyfunctional teams, one of them seems to have gotten its act together (at least somewhat), and the other is a continuous disaster. Kyrie's suspension seems to be addition by subtraction. Anthony Davis will play, but is still hurting, and the surrounding cast is horrible.

Big screw job on that Golden State Game.
236 points in a 6-point contest, 121-115 at 1:29. That's a lock to get 2 more points, right? I mean, fouling's gonna happen no matter what, right?
Nope... a minute's worth of missed shots, finally a foul, 1/2 free throws made, and then after GS missed yet again, Sac held the ball for the final 20 and GS decided not to foul.
122-115, and I tie.
That was 100% a win and a horrible way to tie.
First two NBA picks (Wizards under, 76ers under) both won. Nets trying to battle back from 13 down, now 83-87.
-
Nets collapsed. Won't even bother to watch final 6 minutes.
2-1-1 day, should have been 3-1.
23-25-2, -2.95 units is my present record
-
Starting at 4:40pm PT:
Memphis +1.5 at New Orleans
-
Lost yesterday.
Today:
Chicago +104 at New Orleans (Zion Williamson OUT, +1.5 ok)
-
Lost on Wednesday.
23-27-2, -4.95 units is my record.
Today:
Philadelpha vs Milwaukee - Under 211.5
-
Lost yesterday, now 23-28-2, -5.95 units.
Today, Philly game again:
Minnesota -3.5 at Philadelphia
-
Ugh. Second consecutive 0.5 point loss. This one was especially bad, as Minn had the ball with 1:46 left and an 8 point lead, and couldn't cover 3.5.
Now 23-29-2, -6.95 units.
-
Last NBA pick was 6 days ago. I am currently 23-29-2 in the NBA, almost 7 units down. I took a break.
Today is my return:
New York vs Portland - Under 216.5
Milwaukee vs Cleveland - Under 215
Phoenix vs Detroit - Under 224.5
Chicago -3 at Oklahoma City
-
Should've waited another day. Despite all 4 of these looking good at one point, 3 of 4 lost, only Phoenix hitting.
Now 24-32-2, -9.04 units
-
Weird Cavs game tonight.
Cavs are missing both Allen and Love, meaning they're going to be very thin at center, with Robin Lopez getting the start. LaVert is playing but is coming off an ankle sprain.
Toronto has both Barnes and Siakam playing after being listed as questionable.
I like this one to go over, as the Cavs weakness at C (Raptors' usual backup has been out for weeks, as well) should impact the defense. I realize the last game was low scoring with both C out, but I think this one will be a bit higher.
Cleveland at Toronto - Over 218
Still doing last minute analysis on the MNF game.
-
Didn't even come close to winning.
Now 24-33-2, -10.04 units
Today:
New York vs Detroit - Over 226.5
-
Won easily yesterday. Now 25-33-2, -9.13 units.
Coming up at 4:10pm
Cleveland vs Philadelphia - Under 209 -105
Strange days where 209 is basically the floor as far as totals go, but that's where we are in today's NBA.
As I'm sure BCR knows, Cleveland totals have been quite low lately. Going backwards from Monday: 188, 196, 219, 210, 216, 195
In 5 of the last 8 contests, Philly has also seen totals of 212 or fewer. Cleveland continues to have the absence of Allen, Love, and now Stevens.
-
Terrible 2nd quarter (71 points!!), but somehow won the pick by 11 points.
Now 26-33-2, -8.22 units
-
-
Also
Indiana +120 at Portland (+2.5 ok)
-
Neither was close. Lost both.
Now 26-35-2, -10.22 units
-
Celtics stomped on me yesterday, but I think the Raptors will beat them today, with Boston back-to-back on the road.
Toronto -1.5 vs Boston
-
Toronto had an 8-point lead near the half, ended up getting blown out in the 3rd. Now 26-36-2, -11.22 units. Bad.
Regardless, I'll try to rebound with this one:
Detroit at Miami - Under 220
-
Easily won. Now 27-36-2, -10.31 units
