If you have a strong SRR (7 to rolls ratio)

If you believe you can influence the dice in the game of craps and you have a strong (or favorable) seven to rolls ratio so that you limit the number of 7s that you throw, then you definitely must play at a casino with the All, Tall, Small side bets.

With the Small bet if you roll a 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 before you roll a 7 you will be paid 35 to 1 at most casinos.

With the Tall bet if you roll a 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 before you roll a 7 you will also be paid 35 to 1.

If you roll both the Small and Tall, the ALL bet pays 175 to 1.

What's really advantageous about this bet for anyone with a strong SRR (seven to rolls ratio) is that you don't have to repeat any numbers nor do you have to make a pass.

The All, Small, Tall bets are easier to win than the Fire Bet which requires making different points -- at least four -- to get a payoff.

You theoretically could win the ALL bet for a 175 to 1 return without even making one pass.

Having a strong 7 to rolls ratio really doesn't help you make passes (or points) or even hit repeaters for winning the Fire Bet or even hitting your box numbers on place bets. But having a strong SRR is the key to winning the All, Tall, Small bets -- because that is just a matter of rolling numbers and avoiding the 7.

On my recent trip to Bellagio where they have the ATS small bets, I hit the Small on one hand, and on another I hit the ALL (also made the Small and Tall) -- and ironically I only made two passes. I got a big payoff only because I kept rolling numbers and rolled the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 before I rolled a 7.

My conclusion is this: if anyone claims to have a strong SRR and they are not betting the ATS (all, tall, small) bets at casinos which have this "feature bet" they are making a big mistake or else they really don't have a strong SRR.

I haven't done the math on ATS, nor do I care to do the math on it, but just because you have an SRR of 7, doesn't mean you have an edge on that bet. You also have to figure out the other numbers' frequency distribution. Perhaps my "avoid-seven" set/roll makes it so rolling a 12 only has a 1% chance of occurring, instead of the normal (random) chance of 1/36 or 2.77%.

Then again, that's only if you believe in dice control/influence.......which doesn't exist.

I haven't played the ATS before. I assume you make these bets the same as you would for the fire...before a new shooter comes out? What is the min/max bets? Is this bet primarily at MGM properties? Have not seen it CET.

Ive seen the ATS bets at the Station Casinos (Red Rock) and at Sam's Town.

Yes, you bet it before each new shooter gets the dice. If the shooter rolls a 7 on the come out, your ATS bets come down and you can bet them again. If a shooter rolls a come out 7 after making a point, the ATS bets lose and you can place them again.

After I made the ALL at Bellagio the players were allowed to bet the ATS again because I still had the dice. So you could win the ATS bets multiple times with the same shooter.

Minimum has been $1 wherever I saw it. At Bellagio I asked about the max which is $200 on each -- if I recall. I never bet more than $5 on each. But when I made the ALL, Jason was with me and he had $10 on each.

From time to time some players would bet as much as $25 on each.

Ive never seen it at a Caesars property as they have the Firebet.

One strategy is to make only the ATS bets and skip the place bets. It's a higher risk strategy but it certainly pays a lot more.

I am thinking about this play for a chance at max return with minimal downside risk:

At a $10 table I usually bet pass with full odds plus $52/54 across. To win I need to either roll a lot of numbers or repeat the passline number -- the point. The total initial outlay could be $112.

How about this instead:

$10 pass with no odds plus $5 each on All, Small, Tall. Outlay is $25. If I make just the small I get 5x35 = $175.
