I am younger than most here, by a generation (20-30 years for most). And I am gay so I have been a target both in real life and on forums of those that don't deal with accept change well. I also try very hard to be a "live and let live" type of person, as long as what others are doing isn't hurting anyone else.
All that said, I am not very comfortable and frankly have never understood the whole transgender thing. Bruce Jenner among others? I just don't get it. I really just can't grasp this "I was born into the wrong body" stuff. It is as foreign as foreign can be to me. I believe in God and don't believe God makes those kind of mistakes.
When I came out, 25 years ago in my mid teens, it was the LGB (lesbian, gay and bisexual) community, and frankly I question whether bisexual is a real thing. Now there are so many letters we almost need a second alphabet.
I don't wish anybody any harm, and don't mean to disrespect anyone....I just don't get it.
