I've always found this subject pretty interesting
a father and son have been caught and jailed in a decades long $20 million lottery scam
they bought winning tickets at a discount from other scammers who actually won and wanted to avoid paying taxes on their winnings
they then claimed the winning tickets themselves and claimed phony offsetting losses on their tax returns
