A stoopid mask, that isn't N95, isn't going to save you.
I doubt people can wear an N95 Mask for long periods in a Casino.
People still gotta touch dice, cards and chips.
People still drinking out of glasses being handed to them by cocktail girls.

CZR's mask wearing is now required at all Vegas as well as all other of their properties. At our property Horseshoe Bossier City La my host told me yesterday they are now smoke free as well. Not sure about smoking at other CZR properties.
If Las Vegas Strip casinos gave free masks with their logos, I'd drive there to collect one from each property. Without spending more than 10 minutes at each casino, one can collect from the whole Strip and drive back home the same day. Those masks might be worth something 20 years from now. If they gave away the cheap generic masks, forget about it!
MGM has just joined the must have mask rule. Good luck all those fighting not to wear masks. You gonna lose this fight.

I'm not a huge fan of wearing a mask. Alot of it is because the mask is ineffective protection unless it meets certain criteria, fitted properly, and remains uncontaminated for duration of use. On top of that you would also need adequate eye protection or the mask is kind of pointless.
It has been proven to be effective in societies where 95% or greater of the population wears them though. This is due to containing infected peoples bodily fluids in the mask. As long as everyone is wearing one to do their part I have no problem putting a piece of fabric over my face.
Really though society is just prolonging the inevitable. I would opt for letting it run wild and thin the herd for a fast track to herd immunity if given the choice.
Also, I don't want to get this Chinese AIDS bullshit because the long term repercussions are unknown. So I will take responsibility to take all precautions I feel necessary, but without demanding others do whatever I do.

I mean of all the discourse (hundreds of messages) that has been occurring about this Covid virus on VCT, the message on the mask in the cartoon image and the exceptions to the directive absolutely kill the narrative. In a paradoxical way Sisolak is a hero because he has let the cat out of the bag regarding this farce. Since the Casinos have opened I have played many hours not wearing a mask late at night/early morning as I usually do.

By the way, they did studies of unprotected sex with infected people and it was near impossible to transfer the disease.
It was by far easier to catch it with homosexual sex compared to heterosexual sex which I found interesting.

Back to the masks... it's a mandate... not really a law as of yet.
The mandate is getting serious push back though.
