Hoe Did The Oscars Get To Such A LOW Level?

Today is the Oscars, and my wife deems them a must-see. I don't care a whole lot about them, except in how much all the wealthy hoopla and fabulously dressed beautiful people in this country drive the rest of the world crazy. That alone is worth a look in my book.

Prior to the start of the ceremony is the red carpet stuff. Some of it's interesting--most of it is not. But the most annoying part is how ALL of the male hosts are queer. It's as if the cable network is afraid of doing or acting out that the world is mainly a straight world, totally disregarding that homos/gays make up just 2.3% of the population. And while Ellen Degeneres is a world class and excellent MC for the Oscars--gay or not--this collection of queers for the pre-Oscar ceremonies is just too much.
