gambling in San Diego
I'll be in San Diego this weekend, and would appreciate any recommendations for any decent casinos nearby and and info about them.
I enjoy craps and some slots (Double Diamond, Double 3X4X5X Pay).
Also any recommedations for a tour of the city or waterfront?

Yes Mission Bay has a lovely pier...when you get to the end of it, keep walking....there is a slight elevation change, but you should enjoy it very much

Hi Mister V:
The only San Diego casino I have been to is Harrahs Southern California (aka Rincon) which is about an hour drive north of the San Diego airport. There are a few casinos nearby eg Valley View and Pala.
You say you like craps but you will only find card craps in California. Some card craps are better than others, Rincon's version is almost like real craps in feel. Oddly, there is a bubble craps machine there which is even more like a craps experience. It also has the typical slot machines similar to the ones you noted. The only sightseeing near Rincon is the San Diego Wild Animal Safari which is quite interesting. Rincon does have a lazy river in its pool area should you be interested.
I have heard that Barona is closer to downtown and has great BJ but I have no personal knowledge.
If you are near downtown San Diego, consider visiting the USS Midway.
