Under this theory he probably didn't get to play it in the wild much if at all, so there probably was no real concern about being charged or the statute of limitations. (And no concern once he heard charges had been dropped).
Just to clarify, did Rob in fact state that he owned some VP machines? KewlJ's post says that he did but Rob's most recent post (about not being able to fit them into an RV) implies that he did not.
Yeah, he claimed to own a machine or machines, on which he experimented and had printouts demonstrating non-randomness. The posts are on this forum, but you'd have to go back and sort through the back-and-forth between arci and "Singer." The years he claimed he had them were after the Kane/Nestor bug was publicized. It's not just a post or two. There's at least a couple dozen posts where "Singer" discusses his acquiring machines and working on them.
I find it odd that mickey crimm chose to stay mum on this question, but chose to comment regarding other stuff. I mean, it is a key question.
Look, nobody is going to buy the "Singer" yarn unless he provides some W2Gs and a timeline of when/where he exploited the glitch. That timeline would be backed up with credit card history of expenditures that follow the narrative. If there are no W2Gs and the credit card trail doesn't exist, then it's a real tough sell.
