Sports Betting in California?

I just spotted on the web this article about legislation to allow sports betting in California:

While Del Mar and Santa Anita race tracks are mentioned for sports betting venues along with the Indian casinos, you should know that the legislator who sponsored the proposed law in the state legislature is from Inglewood. Inglewood is the city near the Los Angeles International Airport that is the home to Hollywood Park Race Track and Casino.
