In my 1 and a half days of playing, Friday and half day Saturday, since the mask mandate was lifted, I notice about 33% of players still wearing masks. Of the casinos I have been in, employees, including dealers have almost all been wearing masks. Don't think I have seen any employee not wearing a mask. I don't know if this is due to casino policy still being employees wear masks or what. casino employees do undergo a pretty rigorous covid testing policy, so employees might want to do everything they can to avoiding testing positive, which would still result in time off (unpaid I assume).
So far, for these 2 days, I have still worn a mask while playing blackjack. That isn't all about covid precautions. And I would like to continue to wear a mask while playing until doing so makes me stand out. Unfortunately, I suspect that won't be long.
Didn't take long for blackjack tables to be open to full capacity rather than the 3 player limit. I believe that was lifted even before the mask thing though when the governor allowed casinos to go to 100%. I still see some rows of machines with chairs missing, but assume that will change pretty quickly too.
Later Today, taking Mom out for dinner at a casino restaurant, I suspect servers and waiters to be masked, but we shall see.
Went out to a club last night (non-casino related) and it was packed and no one wearing masks. Seems like pre-covid times. :)
