I wouldn't suggest reading the whole thing in-depth but it seems the world somehow dodged a bullet with one of these things. If these viruses had made it over to the US and with its current leadership's strategy of 'hide deny and make up more BS' attitude in leadership, imagine what would have happened?

Luckily we don't eat bats. At least I don't.. not sure about the typical reader on here. (joking.. only Mickey would eat a bat) Seriously though, SARS was a bitch. China fucked this up not containing it, but I don't see us as having done any better.
