I like Ferraros .....italian, if you order meat dishes it will set you back 200 for 2 with some wine. Good atmosphere, well presented, great veal, . I dont drink but they seem to have a well stocked wine vault.
Based on your past postings, you might not like this place though
We also enjoy Ferraros, which is in that little strip mall right across from Hard Rock casino. And we like Panevino, on Sunset Road across from the airport.
Heard that name Ferraros before but never went there. I do know many speak of numerous places especially out on the west end of the city, i might check ferraros out next trip.
For a quick breakfast, we like Einstein Bagels, 360 E. Tropicana.
Excellent bagel, egg and bacon breakfast sandwich.

I very much like the del Taco and the in and out burger.
If you go to In n Out, try driving to the one on Sahara. Much better experience than the jammed on near Trop or the touristy one at The Linq.
Regarding breakfast, I like Egg and I, also on Sahara. It's a locals place, fairly cheap prices, and food is very good. Only knock on it is that the service is so-so, and the kitchen is hit-and-miss with accuracy. Still like them best for breakfast.
I think they're open til like 2:30pm.
The father of the owner played 100-200 limit holdem with me once at Bellagio. When I put a bad beat on him, he was very angry about it -- like far more angry than you'd expect someone taking a bad beat at limit holdem would be.
How did he react to the bad beat?

If you like Greek food, you have to go to the Meraki Grill on Rainbow near Tropicana. Tremendous value and awesome food. Off hours might be best as it gets crowded.
Capo's on Sahara is always a fun experience if you like Italian food. Another great value.

I've gone to the Cracked Egg for breakfast in Summerlin. Great omelets at low prices. Clean and comfortable.
A friend took me to Nora's an Italian restaurant on Flamingo several miles west of the Strip. There are locals who rave about the place. But I wasn't impressed with the taste of my veal parmigiana though the portion was large. Service was excellent. I did love their Italian cheesecake but I'm not sure I'd return. Very busy and popular bar.
I know it’s barely off the strip but what are people’s opinion of Golden Steer?

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission on Bonanza serves a comped meal of a bowl of beans, milk and bread at 5 PM everyday.

I honestly have to say that the best bacon cheeseburger I ever had was at the Village Pub on Flamingo in the Cannery Shopping Center (a strip shopping center). This is on the east side. Village Pub has a chain in Vegas, but I have not been to the other locations so I can't talk about them. The burger is big, good meat, cooked to order, the bacon is thick, as is the cheese, comes with a large serving of delicious thick French fries or cole slaw (and the cole slaw is really good and what I prefer). And... it's inexpensive. Put $40 in the video poker machine at the bar and play (win or lose) and your meal might be comped. Drinks are free as well if you play.
Sometimes they have baby back ribs but its been hit and miss. First time they were fantastic, falling off the bone. Second time they were tough.
The place is over rated and surviving on its past reputation. The meat quality is USDA Choice at best, most likely Select, with absolutely no aging. I have had a medium rare ribeye served extra well. Thing was like a piece of shoe leather. Had to send that back and I hate to do that. Those kind of mistakes are rarely made in an Outback.Quote:

I dont consider del taco, In and Out, McDonalds, Bagel shops, to be restaurants . Technically, I guess any place that has a single table or counter can be loosely called a restaurant. If that was the case there are tons of pizzerias that i grew up with that had 2 tables and a counter could call themselves restaurants.Quote:
