7 Star argument with host due to his negligence causing more issues on property

Here is backstory:

I have a host who thinks we are also friends, I know they all act like that but he curses in front of me, says dumb stuff, talks about banging girls etc...shows me naked pics of his current gf...hes trying hard to be a buddy...a few months ago he mentioned that he cannot take gifts but can take sealed envelopes or cards and if something nice found its way in there then so be it...long story short I hooked him up few times with some 100s when he hooked me up with things I requested..ie presidential suites etc...keep in mind I am top 100 player and seven star so could get that stuff anyway but if he went above and beyond like a tiffany gift for my woman in the room etc I rewarded him. Recently my play has decreased as it often does this time of year though I continue to come to the casino each week for my 700 to 1000 in free play..sometimes I will put up a 2k theo other times I will play the free and leave. Recently I asked for tickets to a concert on a certain date..I get a call 2 weeks before the date I requested and hes like where are you? I say Mike I am not in the state even I said the 21st in email ..he replies no you didnt. I send him the forward stating 21st only and that I could not make the 5th or 6th performance. He gets upset and says well you dont play anymore anyway so I could just cut you off. I spout back stick it up your ass and dont get me the 21st tickets. We havent spoke in person since but via text he has informed me now that I am overcomped and will not even be getting food anymore or rooms beyond the ones mailed to me...wtf. A week before I could get any suite and 150 a day in food...now I get 0 food? What do you do in this situation? I considered going to the vip host boss but they are best friends and literally jut vacationed together and took tons of selfies they posted on fb together so that seems out. TLDR:

A. Player is big player for 10 months of year and play has slowed...
B. Personal argument over host not paying attention and now player is told he is not getting his comps anymore...
C. Player mad.

What would you guys do?

Alan, if this happened to you there would have to be an action you would take...given your history and knowledge base I am curious what you would do if shoe was on your foot.

Let your wallet talk. Take free play offers and don't spend anything on property. Use the offers as long as you get them and at the same time start building a relationship with another gaming company. Give them your play, offers will come to you and a host will introduce himself to you quick enough.

Write a letter to corporate explaining things (all of it). If they don't respond, write a follow up and inform them your business is going elsewhere and do so. See what the response is.

Roe is on the right track. But don't write to corporate. Find out the name of the casino manager, and write to him. Or even better, call him. (Letters sometimes get ignored or skimmed.)

I agree that going to the guy's direct supervisor will be useless, given their closeness.

Which property is this?

If it's an Indian property, like the Rincon, you will have limited power with Caesars Entertainment, as they only "manage" these properties. If it's a CET-owned property, then perhaps contacting someone at the corporation will do some good, but only after you've exhausted your options at the local level.

I would rather not say the property as that would 100% out the person in reference...I will keep considering..just not sure what the right thing to do is. I have 335,000 tier score for this year so I dont think food should be an issue?

A couple of observations:

1. Perhaps you got too close with your host

2. You're a top-100 player with only 335000 tier points? Yet you get up to $1000 in free play weekly?

3. And there's a problem over show tickets?

This doesn't add up unless its a Paul McCartney concert.

Yes, top 100 7 star and my freeplay was 1400 a week for while. its all slot play...and it was a low cost show.

Also its a midwest property I was told by host I was in top 40 actually...made top 100 every quarter last year. Got my folio and my 1k in slot play bonus each time...just picked up 50,000 rc this past week for top 100 gift. Also im down to about 660 a week now was as high as 1400...1k avg for long time with bonus offers..october was huge had 1500 bonus offers plus my normal flat.

Let me say this another way: why would you be treated this way and why isn't your host kissing your ass?

It seems a disagreement and the fact that he is potentially abusing drugs at work...thts why its sticky situation.

Drugs too? Too much drama for me, a non high roller.

He has seemed messed up a few times and a few other people who are close to him has said things to me about a pain pill habit thats why I do not want to out him on a forum. I just dont want to lose what ive earned due to his bs. That said I dont want to ruin his life either.

Just go to the casino manager there and tell the exact story you posted here. Don't tell about the drugs if you don't want the guy to get in extra trouble.

One more question: is the ONLY issue here the concert tickets?

That and that he 100% has cut my food off and suddenly says im overcomped and will not be giving me anyhthing no more suites every week, no 150 a week in food free, and no concert tickets now or in future. I asked for a massage recently and was told not now or in future through one of his minions.

Basically the issue is that the guy is punishing him for a perceived slight.

From everything I'm reading, it sounds like this guy is out of control. He will get fired soon anyway, most likely. But you shouldn't worry yourself about the consequences he suffers from your report. Just go to the casino boss and tell this story. If they still don't do anything for you, take your business elsewhere.

There are two sides to every story and if you are sticking to your side and there are no omissions then go to the biggest boss you can find and lay your cards on the table. Let us know what happens.
