Charlotte +135 at Washington - starting NOW
Charlotte going well so far. Apologies for not posting it with more notice.
I have an under for 5:05pm.
Portland at New Orleans - Under 233 (232.5 ok)
Harkless, Davis, and Holiday are out.
Nice rebound after the 0-3 fiasco on Tuesday (I took Wed/Thurs off, as I didn't see anything I liked).
Charlotte was ahead wire to wire, and ended up winning by 6, which was a lot less close than it seemed.
Portland/NO was close the whole way, after a terrible 67-point 1st but a nice 46-point 2nd. Came down to a junk 3-pointer shot with the score 122-110 with 12 seconds left, which bricked, and Portland got the rebound and held the ball. Win by 1. Phew!
Tomorrow:
Memphis +103 at Washington
Portland at San Antonio - Under 223
Split 'em Saturday.
Skipped yesterday.
Two today:
Denver at Boston - Under 221
San Antonio +125 vs. Golden State (spread +2.5 also ok)
Got 'em both yesterday.
Now 6-2 on underdog moneylines.
I have two picks today. No totals.
I have one spread pick, and one crazy dog pick, which will be tempered by a spread pick (half/half).
Charlotte -1 vs. Philadelphia (Embiid out)
Half bet: Atlanta +8 vs. Houston
Half bet: Atlanta +300 vs. Houston
0-2 yesterday. Ugh.
San Antonio's 9 game winning streak ends TONIGHT against the Heat.
Miami +210 at San Antonio
Lakers have lost 9 of 10.
Lebron is playing, despite some groin problems.
They will beat the mediocre Nets tonight at home.
Lakers +125 vs. Brooklyn
Starts 7:35pm PDT, so you have a lot of time.
One pick today, and it's a spread pick.
Atlanta +7.5 vs. Philadelphia
Starts 4:35pm PT
Won yesterday. Here's my overall record. There have been some half unit bets (when I split spread/moneyline on a game), so that's where the 0.5 comes in. Otherwise all bets are one unit.
Units on spread and totals are assuming a -110 line (sometimes I get better, occasionally worse, but that's what I'm using for recordkeeping here.)
Totals: 49-49-1 (-4.45 units)
Spread: 1.5-2 (-0.64 units)
Moneyline: 6.5-4 (+7.10 units)
Overall: Up +2.01 units
One pick today:
San Antonio -1.5 at Boston
Boston may be without three starters. Horford out for sure, Tatum probably out, and Hayward possibly out. Even if Hayward plays today, Tatum and Horford out is huge.
Easy win yesterday.
Back to totals today, despite doing well on the spread/moneyline picking over the past month.
One pick against the public
Philadelphia at Orlando - Under 219 (Simmons out, 218.5 ok)
And one with the public:
Brooklyn at Portland - Under 223.5
Dallas +110 vs. Sacramento
Doncic just announced as probable. Before he was "quesitonable".
Giles out for sure for Sac.
Game at 5:35pm PT, so you have time.
Last minute spread pick:
San Antonio -4.5 at Charlotte
Two games yesterday which looked good for a lot of the way, only to lose at the end in both cases.
Two picks today:
Indiana at OKC - OVER 217.5
Memphis +9.5 vs. Golden State (Michael Conley is playing)
Last minute:
Orlando at Detroit - Under 205.5
At 4:35pm PT:
Dallas +210 at Miami
Very cold last few days, 6 losses in a row (though the +210 Dallas pick was winning almost the whole way).
Today:
Atlanta +125 vs. Portland - Nurkic out for season, McCollum out
Wow. 0-7 slump.
If you dare, you can bet this one:
Miami at New York - Under 209
Golden State at Charlotte - Under 228.5
Dallas +175 vs. Philadelphia - No Embiid or Butler
Loved that Dallas pick, which won by 20. One of my favorite of the year going in. That is my 2nd win in a row, and the +175 is almost a double payoff, so it's like 3 in a row. That helps ease the 0-7 pain from earlier.
Here's an NBA dog. Don't feel as confident as yesterday's Dallas +175, but still good enough to bet.
Sacramento +200 vs. Houston
Sac is eliminated from the postseason but is a 9-seed and isn't really tanking. In fact, only the Lakers have a realistic chance at passing them at this point, even if Sac were to go 0-5 in their final games.
Believe it or not, Sac has a better record at home (23-15) than Houston does on the road (20-18). Sac just played Houston on Saturday in Houston, and had the lead after 3 quarters, before shitting the bed in the 4th.
