Casino gamblers likely to see the new $100 bills first

The release of the new $100 bill is now almost a year late -- it was postponed because of printing problems. A big percentage of the bills printed had creases and could not be released.

But they're still coming... but no one knows when.

It is likely that casinos and casino players will see and use the first of the new $100 bills.

Now who would ever consider even caring about or wondering about whether the Chinese, of all people, might be "offended" by how the US Gov't. designed the new bill? If any of them don't like it for whatever stupid superstitious reasons they have (and they have many--I lived there for 2 years) that's just tough. Tell them to do one of those "occupy Washington" things and see if that's the same ridiculous waste of time as all the recent crop of lazy unemployed hippies, weirdos, moochers, long-hairs, and other unimportant sections of humanity did for no reason other than to see how many more handouts they could cheat America's hard-working people out of.

Well Rob, consider this:

1. It's not only the Chinese living in China but also the Chinese living in the United States.
2. There are also Americans of Chinese and Asian descent who also follow the beliefs and culture of China and Asia that might find the new currency to be offensive.
3. And, there are more US $100 bills in circulation outside the borders of the USA than within the borders of the USA, and this could hamper the exchange and acceptance of US dollars in Asia.

Let's also not overlook the use of "pink" in the bill and the problems that might foster.

In New York City you'll have a hard time trying to pass a $2 bill to a cab driver or in some retail stores. Do you use $50 bills in casinos? Do you know of a casino in LV that will give you $50 at the cage when you cash in chips?

And as a side note, I was shocked that the Bank of American ATM inside the Forum Shops at Caesars dispensed $50 bills.
