Anyone else going to the video poker tournament at Planet Hollywood this weekend?

Nash, I am surprised you will be at the poker tournament at Planet Ho... I understand from a reliable source that your name is going to be pulled for the $50,000 cash at Rincon Saturday night at 11pm, and before that you will be called every hour, starting at 1pm, for at least $1,000 of free play.

All those royals and quad aces you had recently gave you a lot of entries. And you're going to play in a VP tournament at Planet Ho for two fifteen minute sessions instead?

And a good investigative reporter never reveals his sources either....right? Funny.

In all the months we have been at Rincon on the last Saturday of the month I did get lucky in March on the $1000.00 free play.
Last weekend my name was never picked for the Grand Opening free play and I never even heard the announcement on the
$30,000 Saturday night. We were probably in the concert.

We actually like the video poker tournaments. A couple of years ago I placed 49th and got $800 in free play. We will be staying at PH this time instead of
Harrah's or Caesars. We will get our monthly free playtoo and I'm going to use my coupon on Monday.

Aside from all that, I'm having Garrett Popcorn (from the windy city) withdrawls. I'm a Chicago gal and was so happy when they opened in the PH mall. Besides... Davo is tired of eating in the restaurants at Rincon.

Say hello to the Butlers in the Diamond Lounge for me. I find the PH lounge to be my favorite.

If you and Davo are drinkers, try a “Fun Dip”. I do not regularly drink but when at PH I partake in a few of them. They are delicious.

We aren't big drinkers but we do enjoy the strawberry margaritas in the Diamond Lounge at Harrah's. I might have to try one of those "fun dips" though. I've never been in the Diamond Lounge at PH. Where is it?

It is on the Mezzanine level near the South elevators. The VP Tournament is usually on the Mezzanine Level. There is a 110” TV in the back room of the DL and hot food is served from 4 to 6. Another drink everyone loves is the Mud Slide.

Nash is there monthly free play in Vegas that you get, or is this one of the promotions that comes in the mail from CET ??

Yes, it's our monthly casino play. It's usually only good at Harrah's since we stay there in Vegas more than anywhere else but since we are doing the video poker tournament at PH and staying there our host was able to get the casino play offer code changed for PH because it is being offered at the same time.

Well, Davo and I are almost out of here and ready for our road trip. Just waiting for the mail.
