Should we play craps for the Chinese New Year?

A friend just reminded me that this year, the actual new Year of the Snake starts on February 10, 2013 which is 2/10/2013 and while those are all digits found in fhs horn bet and the field bet at craps.

The casinos celebrate the Chinese New Year for Asian customers and I wonder if there will be special promotions for the game of craps this year, especially since it is the "year of the snake?"

My friend reminded me that the Snake is popularly known as "wise and prosperous" and we shouldn't forget that "snake eyes" on the craps table pays 30 to one at most casinos and is tied with boxcars (12 or midnight) for being the single highest paying traditional craps bet.

So on 2/10/13 rolling and betting snake eyes (2) either straight up or as part of a horn or field bet, and betting the field which includes a bet on 2 as well as 10 and 3, just might be a great way to welcome the year of the snake.
