Pretty interesting, so the casinos in that video are 100% illegal.
There are those other brick and mortar 'casinos' that are classified as 'sweepstakes cafes' Where its very much in a legal gray zone. Where instead of buying in with cash directly, you buy these phony 'phone cards' (pun intended) from the establishment for, let's say $100. Then you read off that phone card serial number (for no reason). Then the operator of that parlor lets you on a Windows PC machine complete with video slots/poker game with, 100.00 credit (it's not dollars, its just "game credit") You then hand over that phone card to the operator.
So you are playing these games, and if you end up winning more "game credits" - Then the operator will give you a Prize! (not cash). And what is that Prize??? A phony phone card! And then someone outside the building that is "100% completely unaffiliated" with the establishment will pay you cash for that phone card... And that cash amount will coincidentally be equal to the credits you left the machine at. That person outside sure enjoys fake phone cards.
Legal gray zones. Good times.
I bring this up, because the gaming machines that were seized from that FOX news video is using the same software that those shady parlors use.
Another thing I would like to add, regarding those people who would actually spend their money at illegal gaming joints in Los Angeles.
For God sakes people, can't you just take a Free bus ride to an actual Indian gaming casino? You know, a casino that has air conditioning, relatively high security. Thousands of clean, bright, shiny games to choose from. Where if you win, you probably WILL get paid. And might even give you free food for playing? You know, a place where you probably won't get shot or raided?
And don't tell me you're too busy for that bus ride... We all know that is just not true.
