Huffington Post -- too slow to bother with

This is not a new problem but I am so tired of having the same problem that it was time for me to talk about it.

Huffington Post is a very, very, very slow website that takes forever to load and sometimes never loads and I can't read the articles or pages I click on.

I have had this problem on numerous computers at different locations and using different Internet service providers. But could it just be a problem I am having, or are others experiencing this too?

Sometimes I get a warning that a "script" is too long and that prevents the page from loading. Sometimes my computer will just freeze up. I don't have this problem with other sites -- just Huffington Post.

What's going on? Too many links on each page? Too many ads? What?
