One fascinating aspect of all of this, to me, is that human beings are forced to accept AI abilities in a direct fashion when AI outperforms people in chess, then at partial information games like poker, which is an enormous leap. It's only a matter of time until AI explodes the many predictive myths that serve as the core (and conflicting) values of both American political parties. Then those myths are going to be exposed as types of quasi-religious beliefs that are simply wrong.
