After logging in, there is a notation on the TR website that says "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Reward Credit expirations have been paused until at least September 1, 2020. We are also making Tier Status easier to achieve and will share details soon. Stay tuned."
Does anyone know what their plan is yet? I do not think the extra TCs were an earned bonus of any type. They just appeared in the last day or two.
Caesars put out an email to TR members and a YouTube video about this. Station Casinos also extended it's tier credits for its players clubs. I think this will be followed by more casinos.
Giving out loyalty points or extending tier status is the cheapest way to keep players.
They hope to reopen and they certainly don't want to lose you or me or anyone else over tier points which really have no cash value.
How many extra tier credits are you seeing?
I am assuming that they will lower the tier credit requirements for 2020 as a function of how long they're closed.
So if they're closed for half of 2020, they will cut the earning requirements in haf. But that's just my guess.
