I've got competition popping up in my neck of the woods in my shitty little home casino and the casinos nearby have always had a little bit of competition. When I say, "Competition popping up," I'm talking about people from hundreds of miles away doing driving tours to scout places, I've run into two such people from the Northeast in as many weeks. Long and short, I don't know that anywhere is good for a low roller vulture these days.
I also ran into another guy a few months ago, but he had his own unique set of issues. I kind of helped him out a little bit, or at least, tried to. I tried to put him on a few better places and helped him get there, I thought about writing an article about it, but it seems like that could be seen as exploitative. Like I only helped him for the purpose of having something to write about, or something.
I don't know what it is. I think it's a combination of more people are trying it and some of the newer plays are easy as fuck to figure out.
You've also got to figure that I'm an in and out guy, I don't camp unless I have a pretty good reason to. (Example: Waiting out someone on a must-hit) so if I'm in there for a half hour to an hour, tops, and I'm running into people doing the same thing I'm doing and bullshitting with them in that short of an amount of time...there are probably even more people there doing it who I am not seeing.
