Vegas Trip Recommendations

Hello all! I'm new to this forum and relatively new to casino gambling. I am a slot ap/hustler or whatever you like to call it. Discovered this way of making money after dozens of hours of research last year. Maybe hundreds of hours. A video on Youtube channel American Casino Guide gave many hints and pointed me in the right direction. Then I discovered Wizard of Odds and other sites. This led to me walking through my closest casinos looking for certain games. Eventually I met others and discovered more games to find +ev on.

Anyway, I'm on the East Coast. Received some comp nights and have planned a trip to Vegas in the spring. Of course, I'm always looking to find some good plays, but I'm looking to have fun on my trip. Any casinos you recommend in particular? Any buffets? Any shows you recommend? I enjoy comedy and stunts.

I'm not as up on the mental illness that inflicts the member Tasha, but isn't this type of stupid posting that's his/her M.O. when trying to drum up activity and attention?

I have no clue who Tasha is. Little confused.

But, you know. F you too. I join a forum. Just make one thread saying hello and asking some genuine questions. Then you reply comparing me to some allegedly mentally ill member that I do not know, and call my post stupid. You must be quite popular at parties I'm sure.

I apologize for Rob. That was a very nasty welcome for you and one you don't deserve. He is comparing you to me. I started some really stupid threads and then later realized how stupid those threads really are. But your thread is not stupid at all. It was an innocent Gambling questions thread.

I asked about Vegas on a Vegas forum. Then you go on some rant talking about this forum not being a place to ask question. Hmm, I see posts asking questions about specific slot games on this forum. I would never name a game on a public forum to create more competition for myself. In fact, I have messaged Mickeycrimm to ask about a specific game. Here I just wanted general recommendations on nice spots to visit in Vegas.

Although the forum owner allows me to be libeled by "Singer" on a regular basis, despite my pointing out that it's libel, I'll start the ball rolling for radicalwin.

From a gambling perspective, if you are going before March Madness, you might want to survey the odds available on teams at various sports books. If you are indeed heading there before hoops starts, PM me and I'll give you a short list of what books to check in what order.

In terms of buffets, for which I'm usually berated as a "low-roller" -- LOL -- here's what I think.

The Wynn is top notch, but it isn't really a buffet in the usual sense. It is in that you go get your own food, but it's a tablecloth place with top of the line food. I would say that Paris is a great buffet for breakfast with made to order crepes. I like the Planet Hollywood buffet for its international food. The Harrah's buffet is expensive for what it is, but everything is fresh. The food outdoes the room. All of these are not cheap, mainly because they get written off as comps for many, and the price that gets written off is of course inflated.

I've seen about half of the Cirque shows, and they are all great. If you're looking for more intimate off-the-wall shows, look up Absinthe (Caesars Palace) or Opium (Cosmo). Fabulous entertainment. Opium was really inexpensive in December; not sure that pricing will continue.

I've seen the televised shows featuring the comedians who perform at the Plaza downtown. Really funny, but also rough if you like that stuff.

For some good, free entertainment, I can recommend the inimitable Cook E. Jarr, usually at Paris on Mondays (not sure if he's still scheduled) or Big Elvis at the Harrah's piano bar. When I first saw him more than a decade ago, Big Elvis weighed somewhere around 800 pounds. He's trimmed down to 400-something. He sounds fantastic. You can check out Cook E. on youtube.

Huh, didn't know that about Mike Shackelford. I've only seen his math. What do you think led to him not doing well at video poker?

My looking for good plays was really just me digging for good casinos to visit where I may find games I already know how to win. Figured anyone answering that question was a longshot.

I need to improve my insults? I'll take that into consideration.
